Slaves of some old men feigning to know Christ but who can do nothing other than enslaved them.

Take heed that no one Deceive YOU.

But Sons Of perdition will entrust their souls in the hands of wicked impostors who assume to be Apostles of Christ whereas, Christ doesn't know them.

The covenant name of God is YHWH and you make it Jehovah even when the scripture is there for you to see in black and white.

Stupidly you ask me to read the JW publications in Hebrew or French: sorry, you are LOST . Go find Jesus!

Your comprehension of scripture is at kindergarten level.

A non Jew becoming a Proselyte is EVIL!?
SMH!
Of course, you don't know who a Proselyte is

Exo 12:47-49:
"All the congregation of Israel shall keep it. And when a stranger shall sojourn with you, and will keep the passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof. One law shall be to him that is home born, and to the stranger that sojournes among you."

A Proselyte is ANY non Jew who loves the God of Israel and decides to abandon the gods of his people and have only YAHWEH as his god and obey all His laws.

They didn't teach you this!!?

Look at how he lied and manipulate the scripture as it concerns proselyte as it is used in that account he referenced grin grin

The Beroeans later became disciples of Christ and subjected themselves to the teachings of the Apostles and Older men in Jerusalem.

So God's organization kept growing in number with one line of thought as a global family of peace loving worshipers! 1Corinthians 1:10

See what they wrote in their religious publications about YAHWEH grin grin grin grin

In their Interlinear Translation of the Greek Scriptures published by the Watchtower Society? On page 23 of the 1969 edition, it says: "While inclining to view the pronunciation 'Yahweh' as the more correct way, we have retained the form 'Jehovah' because of people's familiarity with it since the 14th century."

See them say people's familiarity since the 14th century. See their members lying and manipulating the fact by stating...

grin grin cheesy grin cheesy cheesy

See another....

In view of these opinions, why do the witnesses of Jehovah prefer to use “Jehovah” rather than “Yahweh”? For one thing, no one can be certain just what the original pronunciation was, even as admitted by those who prefer “Yahweh.” And further, the form “Jehovah” has a currency and familiarity that “Yahweh” does not have. “Yahweh” is obviously a transliteration, whereas “Jehovah” is a translation, and Bible names generally have been translated rather than transliterated. A transliteration usually sounds strange to the ears of those speaking the tongue into which the proper name has been transliterated.

God's organization today is filled with sincere and honest hearted people like the Beroeans who carefully examined the Bible along with what is happening around them so they knew that there is no organization meeting up with the standard set by Jesus and his first century disciples like the organization of Jehovah's Witnesses! smiley

So are you like the Beroeans?
All they did is to compare what they read in the scriptures to the activities of those claiming worshipers of God around them! smiley

Many around us are like the Beroeans as they are willing to ascertain the authenticity of their teachers to be sure they are following the right group! Act 17:11 smiley
Re: The Beroeans: What Can We Learn From Them? by Ken4Christ: 9:03pm On Jun 24
MaxInDHouse:
In the first century Jewish community there were numerous religious sects all claiming worshipers of the God of Abraham but then there is contradictions among them as they had different schools of thought headed by a body called Pharisees. Each Pharisee had his own Rabbinic school where students were thought to become Pharisees in the future, the Apostle Paul was tutored in one of these Rabbinic schools under a Pharisee whose name is Gamaliel! Act 22:3 compare to Act 5:34

So when Jesus of Nazareth began preaching and teaching throughout all the district of Judea and his teaching didn't match any of their Rabbinic schools {Matthew 7:28-29} they all ganged up to incriminate him because they were envious thinking that with his teachings Jesus will win the heart of all their people! John 11:48

They conspired with Roman politician called Pontius Pilate and killed Jesus of Nazareth believing that their troubles are over not until Jesus' disciples began preaching and teaching that the man killed as a blasphemer is actually the long awaited Messiah! Act 2:36

This is what Jesus' disciples were preaching and teaching with zeal that led to crisis among the Jews in the first century as their leaders began hunting Jesus' disciples telling them to stop claiming that Jesus is the Christ (Messiah) Act 4:18; 5:28

So in every land where Judaism has become a religion among people of other nations Jesus' disciples quickly gained the attention of people who were Jewish proselytes as all these people were also in expectation of the Messiah.

Noteworthy are Jewish proselytes found in an ancient city called Beroea these proselytes heard what Jesus' disciples preached but since the Jewish religious sects that taught them Judaism never told them anything like that they were skeptical about Jesus' disciples even though Jesus' disciples were performing great signs and wonders in Jesus name the Beroean proselytes didn't just jump at them to accept their message unlike their fellow proselytes in Thessalonica they were studying the scriptures diligently everyday to be sure that what Jesus' disciples are saying is true! Act 17:11

Now the question each Bible student need to ask himself or herself today:

*Am i noble minded like the Jewish proselytes in the first century Beroean community?

*Since there was only the Old Testament (Genesis - Malachi) that was available back then how were they convinced that Jesus is the Messiah?

*Why did they choose to study the scriptures instead of believing the disciples of Jesus and not minding their miraculous works?

*How can i be noble minded like them today?

First, throw away all the trash you have learnt from Jehovah Witness.

Second, receive the free gift of salvation by believing and confessing that Jesus is Lord and Saviour.

Third, receive the infilling of the Holy Spirit with the physical manifestation of Speaking in Tongues.

Fourth, study diligently with the aid of reference Bible and concordance.

Fifth- Follow the rules of scripture interpretations.

In the first century Jewish community many heard about Jesus of Nazareth but their religious leaders have poisoned their minds against him and his disciples so instead of diligently studying the scriptures to figure out what this young man and his group stands for in that point in time most Jews dismissed whatever anyone has to say about Jesus and his group but what about Jewish proselytes in Beroea?
They went back to all the prophecies having to do with the Christ and his presence this really helped them to find out the deplorable condition of the Jewish community spirituality so the Beroeans accepted Jesus and his disciples because they chose to figure out what the scriptures say about the period they were living.
So today we too can be like the Beroeans by studying the scriptures to know what God's word said about our time in order to know the organization God is using to gather faithful and obedient humans in this time of the end:

Christianity is a personal race. There is no such thing as a practicing group. It's not an entertainment industry. The real Christian life is preaching the gospel with signs following. You lay hands on the sick and see them recover. You cast out devils. Can you do that?

If you're not stupid you should know that in a personal race no one tells another how to run its only when it involves grouping that you need to tell others how everyone must do things that's why Paul compared what the Beroeans (a group) did to what Thessalonians (another group) did otherwise each person could have done things on their own without comparing and Paul or you wouldn't have to make comparisons.

So the OP is about a GROUP of people that's why the Bible mentioned a GROUP called "Beroeans" and compare them to another GROUP called "Thessalonians" so it's not about an individual like a Beroean or a Thessalonian.

Apostle Paul was displeased when Christians he preached to started making choices among the Apostles each saying i belong to Apollos, i belong to Paul and another saying i belong to Christ. 1Corinthians 11-12

According to Paul they must all have the same line of thought regarding sacred service which means Christ is the one everyone must imitate so why are there thousands of religious sects claiming they belong to Christ with contradicting teachings and conflicting doctrines and no one is asking: which group is practicing what Jesus taught?

What baffles me most is how some will come out saying it's a personal journey yet they're ready to argue about how Christianity should be!

It's important to know there is a group that's practicing Christianity in the right sense otherwise there's no sense in complaining on how someone is practicing his own! smiley

Mark 16:17-18
17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Many just swallow hook line and sinker whatever they heard from parents and families but real people questions what our families believe not just for criticism sake but to figure out a better way of handling matters, that is exactly what the inhabitants of Beroea did after meeting the apostles of Jesus, they welcomed them with their messages with all eagerness of mind but went back to make a diligent study of the scriptures to see if these things were so.
