Human beings should just allow the dead to rest.
How will the cause of his death bring him back to life again?
Suicide or no suicide, it's irrelevant, they should plan and give him a befitting burial.
This is a lesson to all of us to keep our family members closer.
It's not everytime that someone's challenge is money.

I think he used that as a form of distraction to the maid, cause he knew the maid will run to call the gate man immediately she couldn't get in. I think the man used that to distract them so as to do what he intend doing.

I think trying to find out the cause of people's deaths is very very very important, in other to avoid the cause of deaths or treat the cause of deaths ascertaining the cause of deaths is very important.

If he was murdered it is important to find out how, why and who murdered him. People don't just die, apart from accidents, illness and old age. Even accidents and illnesses should be questioned or investigated.

Saying questioning the cause of death is irrelevant and leave the death alone is very ignorant.

...“She rushed downstairs and found him in a horrible state....”

So,, to describe the most-important part of this whole story is just too difficult for all of them??

What is the “Horrible State”??
Is his head broken with his brains poured all over the concrete floor?

What exactly is the “Horrible State”.??

Inefficient Damage Control.

Suicide damages family image and I can understand why they would want to undo this damage but they did a poor job.

I wish them fortitude to bear this loss

Pray make you no jam situation. People commit suicide for different reasons. It's not about being rich or comfortable.

It's obvious the man killed himself.

What cld have been bothering him to push him to kill himself as the family claim that he did not show any signs of depression.

They shd check his phone, the answer might be in the phone.
Even if they find out, they wouldn't tell.

They want to paint a picture that all is well with their family.

Now,, the House-Help is now the person calling those names on the list he gave her.

He committed Suicide. Killed himself.

The family need to accept that and move on....... Bigger people than him have been known to kill themselves, local and international.

Thank God Nigerians are not allowed to carry guns.
Re: How Konga Ex-CEO, Nick Imudia Died — Househelp by cgniyi(m): 1:41pm
Basic:
The fact that the family kept insisting that it cannot be suicide just because he showed no signs of stress or because he was never diagnosed with depression shows they are either grossly unenlightened or they just want to deliberately twist the truth to avoid any form of stigma.

Men are known to be experts at bottling up their worries and pains. So, you might be with a suicidal man (especially the quiet type) without having a clue on what he's battling.

Secondly, the fact that he killed himself without drawing any attention or giving any clue makes depression the most probable cause.

Most people who have 'original' depression don't even know they are depressed. They lose control of their thoughts until they eventually succumb to the suicidal ideations. All of these usually happen without even their closest relatives knowing a thing.

For people who used to be jovial and fun-loving extroverts, it's easy to sense it when they come down with depression. But for the naturally shy, gentle, introverted ones, nobody knows until they end it all.

You made a great post but you lost me with the last part. Most of the surprise cases of suicide are from extroverts never showing signs of depression. Don't make that mistake that the friend joking and smiling with you today isn't going through anything. Talking from experience.

I totally agree with your postulations especially the first paragraph. The family were not living with him and so will be wrong in most of their assumptions.

Truth is , most people are going through a lot and depression is real whether we like it or not.

Most importantly, the rich also cry.

RIP Nick.
