Yes we're not good at selling but nothing to blame here in my opinion.

Dest was set to join PSV for 10m or thereabout but this deal wasn't agreed or fixed just rumours.

However he suffered a serious knee injury. Thing is, unless you're Ronaldo or Mbape tier player, no club will sign you if you're badly injured that's why a player must undergo medicals before signing. Demba ba, Wijnaldum, Tyler Adams, Cisse to mention a few all missed out on transfers because they all failed medicals.

Dest has a year left on his contract with huge wages. No chance a sensible club pays 10m for him while injured. Let's not forget that if you put Raphinha as a RB, he'll defend and coordinate better than Dest.

He was meant to leave either on a free or whatsoever, good riddance.

He's nowhere near faster than Nico, not even as fast as Nico. He's just a better dribbler and manipulator of the ball in tight spaces.

I understand but last season, if you noticed, what we needed was someone that can dribble in tight spaces and only yamal gave us that, we have fast players with speed but football nowadays have changed and we need a neymar kind of player that can dribble and create space.

I am not saying that we shouldn't go for Nico but if you study Barcelona very well, since Messi left, what we lacked are natural dribblers like neymar.
After fati got injured, we lost that factor.

True and this is what Barcelona needs the most.
Better dribblers and manipulators.
If you have noticed mbappe, he is very fast with the ball but he isn't a better manipulator of the ball like neymar, Messi and Co.
And this is why in some matches, it is easier to fade him out of the game but you can never fade neymar out of a football match.

If it's possible to get both Nico and the guy, then we should but all i am saying is that, we need him more than we need Nico.

A proper team like Madrid or even Atletico Madrid with super fast defenders can easily match Nico's energy but when you have someone that can dribble from tight spaces and leave defenders on the ground, it becomes easy to create space for your team.
