Hello all. Please when filling the form, On this question: Have you ever worked for any of the following types of organisation? One of the option is: Government (including Public or Civil Administration and non-military compulsory national service) I worked in a teaching hospital during my internship and now I am working in a university health center... so I don't know what to put. |

Please I applied last week and 2 days later received this mail below. From all the hypotheses on this thread…does it mean visa has been approved? Let me start celebrating in advance ****$ Dear Customer Thank you for your Visa Application which has arrived at the UKVI Decision Making Centre and is now awaiting consideration: Depending on the service you purchased, we aim to process: - Super priority visa applications the day after biometric submission - Priority visa applications within 5 working days of biometric submission - All other visa applications within 15 workings days of biometric submission* You will be contacted by the Visa Application Centre when your passport is ready for collection. Please do not attend the Visa Application Centre until you have been invited to do so. *Please note the above about current processing times and extremely high demand. We strongly recommend that you do not buy a non-refundable, non-flexible ticket to the UK, until your visa application has been approved and you have received your documents. If you enrolled your biometrics at a US Dept of Homeland Security Application Support Centre (ASC) then the processing time on your application will start as soon as we receive confirmation from the New York Scanning Hub that your supporting documents have been received and uploaded to our system. If you attended a VFS Premium Application Centre (PAC) then the processing time starts on the day you enrolled your biometrics. Please refrain from contacting the enquiry service within the processing times. You will be contacted again when your application has ….etc Kind regards Visits UK *** End |

mekanta7: Please can you inform on how you went about the appeal process. I have someone in a similar situation, his visa was refused a second time and from the reason stated it's obvious his application was not treated on it's merit. 1 Like |

BruceXavier: Normally Visitors visa has no right to appeal and administrative review, browse through UK government website, navigate to complaint and send in your complain. If they see it as a serious case, it will undergo investigation. Make sure you debate and query those paragraphs on which the VO resfused ur application. 2 Likes |

Visitors visa approved for my mum. Biometrics was done on 19th of June and passport was delivered yesterday. Reason for visit is to attend my graduation, I sent 3million to her account in Dec and told her not to spend below the amount. We printed her statement of account from the day I sent the money showing that she received the money from me and she explained in her introduction letter that I sent her the money to process her traveling. She also explained reason for lump sum that entered her account. I also wrote a letter saying I sent her the money to use for her visit visa and attached receipt of transfer. I didn’t bother to submit my statement of account since she was sponsoring herself with the money I sent. Other documents provided includes: Payslips, employment letter Statement of account from Dec Properties documents Birth certificate of her children Proof of my accommodation where she will be staying Flight reservation receipt Pictures she snapped with the family Her day to day activities while in the UK ( I wrote that she will be spending 10days) Leave letter from her employer 8 Likes |

Hello great minds. Thank you all for the wealth of knowledge shared and the assistance offered on this platform. I need a clarification on the aspect of my visa application. I am marri ded and employed and want to visit the UK. I have a friend in the UK that I will stay in her house and she will provide feeding as well. The house belongs to her. She is a British citizen. I will however be footing my flight ticket fare. Does it mean that she is my sponsor? What documents does she need to give me since she will provide food and accommodation for me? Will starting that she will feed and accommodate me affect my application adversely? I have had 2 previous denials in 2018 due to the huge amount of funds in my account even though I did a cover note stating that I have worked for more than 14 years and I earn well. |

Hello everyone, please I will be grateful if my questions and concerns are treated here. So the issue is when I wanted to book a date for my IELTS test, i used the IDP app. It was having some issues but after some time, i was able to pay for the test. I didn't get a confirmation mail until about 2 days later and there was no mention of the test i paid for. Fast forward to a day before the test, a reminder was sent and that was where i saw that i had been accidentally booked for the IELTS ACADEMIC instead of general for UKVI. I tried to change it but they said it was too late and i had no other option but to write it and i made a band 8. Now to the crux of the matter and my question, can i use this my IELTS ACADEMIC result to apply for a skilled worker Visa? I have done my tb test and I have my police clearance certificate. I also informed the company that wants to employ me that I wrote the IELTS ACADEMIC and not general test for UKVI and they said that's not a problem and they are ok with it since I made a band 8. I'm just worried. Do you think I should just write another one or I should go ahead and apply for the Visa with this result? I don't want to waste the Visa fee only to get rejected because of this small mistake. Please advise. Thank you |

Hello fam, good evening. My mum wants to apply for visit visa for bro's graduation. She is a government teacher earning about 131k monthly, they don't issue payslip but she has collected a letter from her school regarding this. Checking her salary account just now, I can see that she had other deposits asides from her main salary e.g ogun state government sent her palliative and leave bonus and other money entered her account but each of them are not more than 57k. Does she need to declare this? Because her total credits for the 6 months is 1.08m which is more than 131k*6 months. |
