My oga which strategy do u use in selling your tomatoes and what time is best to enter the market because i have been selling below the prices you quote always and na the same shasha market i dtey go. Though i i usually go there a day after you. The cobra i supply yesterday grade 1 was bought 40k including owo laada, 1 grade platinum was bought 30k including owo laada also. Help a brother plssss

My boss, have tried bought Friday and Saturday and they are the worst days so far.
Also village markets biys here can't buy large quantities

They both did well under same condition..
However, coming to harvest, we r realized the platinum ripening is slow and seem to produce more of yellow fruits than red, reducing the market value.. the cobra ripening is red and brilliant mostly making grade 1.. What could be wrong with the platinum?
How can we possibly correct it next time?

I am seeing you said you apply 1.2 kg fertilizer per stand. This means you will be using 13,200 kg aka 264 bags of manure for an acre of 10,000/11,000 stands.

Good day farmers in the house. Please how do I deal with this kind of infection on my tomatoes: Pix 1. at the edges of the leaves, they appear to be burnt and a bit folded downwards, is that a fungal disease? Pix 2. they fold upwards and become stiff, not growing well (sort of stunted)

For the 1st one I have not even applied fertilizer, they were transplanted last 2 mondays; 2nd one it's rainy season naa, how is the weather harsh? i dont think so

you are very correct on your description, the only way you can achieve deep Red with platinum is if you don't use blue snow, five star, ortiva top or any fungicide that has the same active ingredient like them. Unlike cobra or diva, platinum color will change once you use the fungicide back to back. If you have blight issue in your farm I will advise you use any of them, trust me orange colour is better than rotten fruit.

you have not apply any foliar fertilizer too? If yes, then it is cause by overdose insecticide or fungicide.

Wow...Yes, i have applied foliar plus cocoa, i thoght 120ml per 15L knapsack won't be much as that is the recommended dose from the manufacturer...

Platinum has that in its genetics, you can't do nothing about it...it's yield Vs colour sha and my market values colour crazily

You are doing mixed cropping with tomatoes?
Wow that is interesting sha...
Looks like a viral infection to me, and thrips, whiteflies and grasshoppers could be helping spread it
