If the government decides to promulgate an act that mandates adults above age 21 to be conscripted into the military in readiness for a major war; Omo they will just move from one city to town to village ferrying people down to training camp.

Make we no see war ni o. I read books about how some Africans were bundled from their villages to training camp then to India, Burma and other places where the war was ragging . The crazy thing is some of them didn’t even know who and who were fighting and what exactly they were fighting for .

This is the sequence of events

Jarus starts firming things up with his wife to be

Senior wife starts to put up resistance. (standard drill old wife fades away, new wife is official wife. Old wife is to manage, new wife to enjoy the good life)

Jarus tries to placate her with money and gifts

There is dv on both sides (who started it is between the two of them)

Wife is desperate to hold on to her husband and so she gets jazz

Jarus finds this and capitalises on this as grounds for irrevocable divorce and custody of the children. His lawyers file the papers

This is the last straw because this is literally the wife being thrown out with her load.

At this point one or more of his soon to be ex wife's family come after him on sm

As an SM personality he tries to sieze control of the narrative by preempting them, tiwa savage style

Unfortunately twitter is western leaning so most of his takes come off as cringey, chauvinist and partially mysognyst

He is however committed so he keeps doubling down.

Twitter police and investigators and feminists now start researching and find out more of the story

At this point as a lagos matter it is a dvsa case and so strategy has to change. There is a potential risk of prison time

Wife 01 has been placated by lawyers, family and Jarus. They present a united front, deny all

What happens next is anyones guess. Because the proposed new wife is not going away.

The British World War 1 era militray cannot defeat naija's 2024 Military. We will trash them. They have neither the men nor the hardware to defeat us. All the soldiers they conscripted from their colonies like Nigeria, Ghana, etc were part of their military strength na
They should sha, the technological difference should be deciding factor, though I'm trying to see how other factors that could influence the war would matter if the war becomes prolonged.

We already saw the end of the case from the beginning.

Thefint1 this is what we were telling u that the case is dead on arrival with or without kiki's agenda driven campaign.

The fact that the husband and wife are both muslims who hail from a state like Kwara where they refrence Islamic clerics so much; It was obvious the case will be sorted in house.

In all of these sha, one thing is obvious : POLYGAMY IS A VERY EXPENSIVE VENTURE.

I read Jarus' sign-out post yesterday and I saw him thank his legal representatives. Apparently he had to employ the services of a law firm owned by a SAN which I believe their standing helped his case. Even though a SAN ordinarily would not appear in Magistrate court, but I'm sure the SAN will give him one of his best lawyers to plead his case. Only God knows how much that single legal appearance will cost him.

I put it to you that Raumdeuter's Polygamy 101 lecture's application to real life will always burn a hole in ur pocket grin

For Jarus to have taken things to the point of divorcing the wife and suing for sole custody, not to mention the whole drama that resulted, it's likely he'd harbor some resentment for wife 1 even though he was responsible for everything that happened to him.

Like was said before, one can only hope the guy has people that can drill sense into his head sha, cause his start to his polygamy life has been very rocky, and it generally doesn't get any less rocky.

100 times the lady will always side with the man. She probably would not want to deal with stigma that she sent the father of her children to prison. She will be ostracized if the man goes to prison and his family will throw her out. She will lose out on all fronts.

I think it is about self-preservation for her. It's not like it has gotten to a point that she hates the man so much she hopes something bad happens to him. She just wants the husband she married back. I guess she has that now. They will sort themselves out on the polygamy matter internally; we will most likely not hear anything about it again.

Lolz.

A woman like man will always think of self preservation. The initial resistance the wife put up was because the believe she be abandoned by the husband a whole lot of decisions will not go her way going forward since a new woman will be coming to share her place with her.She most likely saw the man as someone who could reason with her and jettison the idea if she raised her objection well enough.

She later saw things were not as she imagined and resorted to "spiritual help". I believe the moment that has failed to the extent she and the husband had a physical altercation; she was ready to settle for the place of senior wife (even though she was still disgruntled), but the horse has already bolted.

The thing is whether u are a traditional woman or Gen Z baddy, once ur position is secured u will settle for what u would ordinarily refer to as "less" . Some of Ned Nwoko's senior wives are not even the traditional women like that but they settled for polygamy so far their place is fully secured. There are several examples of such.

Yes they used planes for surveillance but not for bombing

These were light planes which can be brought down by machine gun

They used Zeppelins (Hydrogen balloon) for bombing but wasn't very effective

This isn't accurate.

The Germans enjoyed some success with the aerial bombings of London and other European cities, not just with their Zepellins, but with the first plane in the world purpose built for Bombing - the Gotha G6.

Germany followed up on the G6 by producing the even Larger R-planes that were also used to bomb london. These weren't small planes either. The R planes were actually bigger than any German plane that flew 30 years later in WW2

Infact it was the German aerial strategic bombings of London that directly led Britain to create the Royal Airforce, to quote the prime minister at the time "pay Germany back in compound interest".

The Brits (and French) also carried out the some aerial bombings from sea planes sinking German warships

People also underestimate the financial burden that comes with it. This is Nigeria, the poverty capital of the world. If they successfully send him to prison, who is going to be responsible for the upkeep of the children and the wife? Sadly, this is why many women stay in abusive relationships: they'd rather be crying inside a Benz.

Yea, with the gulf between Jarus and e wife, even if e say e no wan do with her again, he'd still have been able to bend her to his will and she'd refuse to testify against him, it just wouldn't have been as easy.

This is just the truth. It goes beyond just saying u want justice for the woman.

The woman will later see the justice as a cuss when people close to her ostracise her, the SUV she's using will be seized by the family members , etc
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by GloriousGbola: 1:23pm On Jul 05
There is another lesson here which Jarus wife may or may not have clocked

It was not Islamic clerics who saved her marriage
It was not Cele preachers

It was not her family (at least not directly)

It was social media which led to the involvement of government agencies.

Otherwise right now she would be somewhere licking her wounds and gnashing her teeth.

It is possible her faith has been severely shaken by this saga.

Eneke the bird says that since men have learned to shoot without missing, he has learned to fly without perching.

To do polygamy you have to be very "strong willed" cos they will beg appeal and even manipulate. What are the demands of polygamy for this era wey pass the other.

First thing we can agree is that is that most women date/fvvck you because of a promise of a long term monogamous relationship or financial gain

Your financial differential is what attracts partners in Polygamy, you don't have to be rich, you just have to find one who finds your financial situation higher than what she can offer on her own or better than the options available

Even in situations like that of treblechamp and gloriosgbola where seemingly financially stable women have professed their desire to join their house as co-wives, you will still know that you cant remove the influence of their finances and stability to it

No woman will want to be your 2nd wife to be feeding you.

So polygamy like a Mercedes is not for everyone. Your mate dey offer landed property and SUV's as wetting ground you wan carry ordinary chest and bet9ja slip go there? comot for road jare

That is why women need to be strategic. Iyawo ceo did not suck it up because she had choices available to her.

The underlying thinking is that the woman has no choice unless she is ready to accept a decrease in quality of life.
