Tourist short stay visa you mean?
From 11 june 2024, the short stay visa increased to 90 euros for adults and 45 euros for children 6 to 11 years.
So multiply 90 euros by Naira exchange rate to get the total amount in Naira.
Thank you

You didn’t give them any reason to believe you will not violate your visa terms since you have a sister there, it’s easy to just stay back- Softlanding.
You have to prove stronger ties at home than that of France.
What are the things that would make you come back home?
Show it to the Visa officer.

Hi @ Zoey1
I was refused a 3-month short stay visa to visit my sister in France. The refusal was based on, "There are reasonable doubts to your intention to leave the territory of the Member states before the visa expires". What are some common mistakes that lead to this type of refusal?
Thank you.

Applying for a tourist visa would have been easier.

Slimszy:

Hello, the program is within a period of time, according to my invitation letter. I am going their for an Artist in Residence program, and its solely dependent on when I arrive on site, as I will creating works physically.

You mean being an artist who have a studio practice based in Nigeria isn't a tie? I have been to other countries for same program and being an artist hasn't been an issue. For tax, I didn't include that because I use my personal account most times for my transactions with clients.

Well, maybe I should have applied for Tourism instead of Business. But on their application website, it's an option to choose (art/cultural) for short stay business visa.

Wauu, the wait is almost over. Relax and be hopeful. Though you have every reason to be scared as a first timer but i tell you a lot of people are getting the visa but not coming to say it on the platform here so be optimistic !

Thank you. I feel a bit better I guess.
Is there a way to know the outcome before opening my passport? I know this question is weird but like when I go to tlscontact. My passport would be in a brown envelope, right? Does a bigger envelope mean rejection (since it comes with the rejection letter) and doesn't a smaller one mean it has be granted since otll be only ones passport?

Shoot!

How can I know the outcome without opening my file? I don't want to open it at the centre because I wouldn't be able to stop myself from crying if denied and it's embarrassing. I plan on just collecting it and giving it to my mum to open it.

So yeah,is there a way?

Sounds a bit funny though....I haven't heard of size of envelop indicating if visa granted or not but i know when the passport comes with a letter then very likely visa not granted.

Okay thanks
Hold on sorry. I just reread. Are you saying when I go there. My passport would just be handed to me? Without any file or seal?

This part "i know when the passport comes with a letter then very likely visa not granted"
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Zoey1: 9:18am On Jul 06
Sometimes some of your own documents are added with the passport on return.
Sometimes, it could be a letter telling you a date to come and present yourself physically after your return.

There is no way to know.
You will get your documents sealed and can’t tell.
