Those are not the usual burglary-proofs. Those bars are made of aluminium (by the guys that do the usual alumaco windows) and so are quite flexible.

Wrong...The iron which could 12mm or 16mm are wrapped with the Aluminium. The burglar could only gain entry because of the wide space between the rods.

Clearly the window was poorly made.

Well, they could be made with iron, but I doubt the quality of the iron can be compared to the ones used to do the normal burglary-proof in most of our homes. Look closely at that rung directly under the thief's leg as he comes out. See how easily it gave way for him to hoist himself out. I really doubt that is iron. It is just too flexible and amenable, even though I agree that the spaces in between are quite large

I have said it that those aluminum profiles are the easiest to break. If security is important to you, you shouldn't do those things. It will only delay a thief but not stop him or her
