Kobojunkie: As his Acountant General. Will you question your boss when he asks you to carry out transactions approved by him as governor?? You guys make it seem like Fubara could have said No. 1 Like |

phantom:And you will also not question his use of the same stolen funds, which he could not have stolen without your help, in installing you as governor and his stooge, right? River's people.... The thing wey do una deep well well. |

Kobojunkie: Kobo, come on you this thing is not as simple as you are trying to make it out. A document lands on your desk with a minute from the governor asking you to approve a transaction. What do you do?? If youbquestion him he'll simply point at his boss. Of course he knows where all the bodies are buried but his lawyer will get him off the hook easily. Don't make it a Rivers issue. Its a Nigerian thing. I can bet far worse happens in Lagos state. |

Kobojunkie:to be fair to Fubara, he would have called WIke out at the time but could not because of his status then as a governor. Now Fubara is the governor, you can see he did not totally agree with wike's shenanigans during his time at the state house. Time will tell, I want everyone to see the close of the matter |
Re: Fubara Breaks Silence On Appeal Court Ruling On Lawmakers by Kobojunkie: 2:29am On Jul 06 |
alphaNomega:1. Nonsense! He had access to incriminating evidence on a sitting governor, evidence that could have easily gotten him impeached or at least close to it but never used it. Instead he helped the same steal over a trillion from the people and then settled for having some of the same money he used to get him a seat as a governor. Make una stop these ridiculous nonsense claims abeg...it nakes you lot seriously seem like a bunch of imbeciles. 2. Time will not make this man a saint. Records still rqij intact that Fubara stole from the people and benefitted from the proceeds. 1 Like |

Kobojunkie: you underestimate the resources at the disposal of a sitting governor in nigeria, especially one in an oil rich region like Rivers state. (Delta state and Ibori currently (2024) is a different story but let me not digress). this is not UK were to an extent they have fairly standard institutions that check such abuse of powers. There is a reason I say Wike is still running his third term in Rivers state We don't need time to tell us who is a saint or not, we already know the "saints" in this drama are the innocent people of Rivers state whose wealth is continually plundered by greedy politics. Time will show us how this matter will end. 1 Like |

phantom: The office of an AG iss for career people while that of the governor is not. If you refrain from sentiment and hatred for Wike and If you have anyone in your family who is a Civil Servant who must risen to the ranks of Director and above please ask him to give you their book of ethics, code and conduct. 1 Like |

phantom: Even in the Military where they say "obey the last command" is not completely true especially if the command goes against rules, codes and conduct of operation, a junior officer can say No to the command or order of his superior officer. Forget about sentiment, please ask those who are career officers in the Civil Service. Yes, one can get over it given the Nigerian patting on the back but when the rules want to be followed there's nothing that won't make one escape prison sentence. 2 Likes |

phantom: You always dey analyze legal issues with emotions. Why you dey give people hope?π What was the position of things before the matter was instituted at the SHC I will tell you for free. 1. Justice Omotosho of the FHC recognised Amaewhule as the legitimate Speak of RSHA against the imposter, Edison Ehie and his group of jokers. 2. Edison Ehie as well as this current juvenile assembly members including Oko Jumbo were suspended by Amaewhule even before Omotosho's ruling. 3. The ruling of the FHC (The court with original jurisdiction on the issue) has not been vacated by a superior court. 4. The Court of Appeal nullified the judgement of Justice Wali, stating that it lacks jurisdiction to remove Amaewhule. What then is the status quo any bellum ? Besides, Sim is playing no game! Oga is scared and simply playing the victim card. While they are on the issue of jurisdiction at the Supreme Court even when they understand the law, the FHC has already entertained the matter and given a ruling. Guess what? That ruling is BINDING! 1 Like 1 Share |

Zico5: The problem I have with people of rivers is, was this ur governor not a supporter of wike. Was he not there for the 8 years of wike. Was he not instrumental on how wike swindled the govt people's money for all 8 years. But now u see him as a saviour just because him and his master are fighting on sharing ratio. He who ride at a back of tiger to gain power might end up at belly of the tiger. Instead for you people clamouring for his resignation because he was part taker in d looting of people's money for 8 good year but u are hailing him as a good man. He's just like his predecessor. 1 Like |

Kobojunkie:Stop writing rubbish and face reality. So who is going to use the evidence to impeach Wike? The HoA that is controlled by him abi? Even when he's not on seat, 25 members still defected because he asked them to. Those are the people you expect to impeach him. The best Fubara could have done if he's too satisfy sanctimonious hypocrites like you is to retire when his time is up. Anything else and he gets framed by Wike. Go and check what happened with Farah Dagogo. What most of you don't realise is what Fubara is fighting. And for someone who has been brandishing recall process, you're shockingly ignorant of politics in Nigeria. Go and find out what happened between Ladoja and Adedibu and also Saraki snr and Lawal. That will make you understand what Fubara is fighting against. All those who support wike are bunch of fools and enemies of Nigerian democracy. |
