You're a genius, this comment needs to be framed. It's there greatest truth I've ever come across in all my life and day to day existence. It also made me laughed out. I screenshot it, copied it to my notepad, also sent it to a friend via WhatsApp to read. You're indeed a genius, may thy Lord God Almighty bless you richly and abundantly, you're the best, the best of the best.

Bye bye

ECOWAS shouldn't have lifted some of the sanctions.

You should not have sanctioned & threatened to invade them in the first place....The chairman of ECOWAS lacked the gravitas to utter such statements in the first place, especially with all the signals from France as the ones pushing the buttons.

This is a big screw up, no be everything be tough guy

They would not want to go back cos they are not ready to relinquish power. Let them remain in isolation and be trading among themselves. Some mumus who are blinded by hate towards their country president have become emergency lovers of these three countries that provide no economic benefit to Nigeria.

Good for them!

ECOWAS is finished!

They haven't done one meaningful thing for member nations in decades.

Up till now, West African nations lack unity of trade and economic synergy!

These are simple things Ecowas should have been able to sort out in less than 5 years.

Africans can't cooperates with each other just like Europeans. That's why we are so backward in everything.
Even when Britain left EU, their exit were negotiated. But in Africa, an agreement means nothing because people can break it within a twinkle of an eye.
Re: Niger, Mali, Burkina Not Going Back To ECOWAS – General Tiani by Omoawoke(m): 6:01pm On Jul 06
I don’t blame their decision. Ecowas has not done well in breaking away from colonial powers and their interests.

Ecowas should consider the interest of west Africans first not dancing to colonialism

Hope you have a farmland to grow vegetables, rear cow and plant beans and onions? This your chest beating isn't enough oo. There would be no more free entry and exit into those 3 countries anymore. I hope you know what that means.

60% of cows, beans, pepper, onions, cooking gas we consume in Nigeria come from Niger. Google is your friend. Now there would be trade barriers, stiff diplomacy, etc before we can access those stuffs.

The best way to avoid food crises in the sub-region is to look inwards and begin growing what we used to import from them. While the section lasted, they were selling to north and south africa and they can still continue. Did you hear them saying ebinpawon, despite the sanction and border closure? The last time I checked, beans, cow and cooking gas became very expensive and Ghana complained of scarce onions. Expect heavy tax on our pipeline we're constructing to Europe too, which pass through them.

Tinubu caused the nonsense. He didn't manage the situation intelligently. In buhari or obj era, it won't happen.
