Sleekfingers: Nobody is as confused as the Yoruba people, how many times Igbo people go tell you guys to leave them alone? Na by force to be one? Make una carry una marriage go marry Hausa fulanis and leave Igbo out of una oneness. Shameless unity beggars. E Pain am 13 Likes

Another unnecessary fight between yorubas and igbos over what? as for the ooni I would like him to bring facts to back up his claims not assumptions or wild guesses. 3 Likes |

delpee: Why did you bring Ugbo into this discussion. The Ooni knows what he was saying. He was referring to Ndigbo. Not Ugbo. The Obi of Onitsha has confirmed the historical connection between Yorubas and Igbo before. Forget Nnamdi Kanu's children online. The Ugbos are part of Ilajes and their king is Obateru (owner of Obat oil. The richest king in Africa). There was no ambiguity in Moremi story. She was a traitor to the Ugbos and a heroin to the Ifes. 7 Likes |

It might seem plausible because ao many of us do trace part of our roots to the ancient Benin Kingdom. But it's hardly any record to verify this. Thos one that Yorubas and Igbos are always at each others throat here on Nairaland 2 Likes |

All blacks actually share ancestoral links, it all depends on how many generations you trace backwards. &for Bible believers, all humans share ancestoral links in Adam & Eve 4 Likes |

emapeteum: The first migrants of Igbo’s into znigeria have been known to be Jewish. There are artifacts and locations in the South East that buttresses that. It was the son of Oduduwa ruling Benin that gave the Igbo migrants the land called South-East todays Igbo’s are one of the lost tribes of Israel with a unique language, and they are not Nigerians. They migrated into West Africa through the coastlines of Gabon, Equatorial Guinea and Cameroon. They were working for the Ikwerre’s in the Southern part of Nigeria and adopted their language. 2 Likes 1 Share |

He is wrong by saying that Kola nut doesn't grow in Igbo land. Is it the same kola nut I used to pick when it falls down from the tree in our back yard? If my Dad wasn't around they have to wait for any of the boys to come back to pick it because it is forbidden for women to pick it. 4 Likes |

NorthernersSuck:Yorubas big pass Binis in every way. They need us and not the other way round. Talking about ancestral links has nothing to do with gumbody incase you lack comprehension skills. It is those who are forcing themselves on Ikwerres that can't stand alone. And we know the reason is due to oil and access to Ocean as their region is a dead and tiny landlocked area 6 Likes |

agadez007: That's the narrative they give themselves to make them feel good within themselves. I've seen numerous times they say igboland is barren land and I just laugh. Imo state has the largest natural gas reserves in Africa, and 4th largest gas reserves in the entire world but these imbeciles say it's barren. Same igboland has crude oil. Anyways let them keep saying igbo land is barren, and keep using up the crude in the Niger Delta. When we eventually get regional government we can use our natural gas to develop our region 2 Likes 1 Share |
