Why is this government like this. Treating a population of 200million with highly intellectual people like fools.
People (men and women) are ready to go to farms. In fact they are already in the farms but they are either being chased out by bandits or herdsmen, kidnapped, their cultivated crops eaten and destroyed by herdsmen and their cows. Farmland taken over by bandits and demanding ransom before you can farm.
Government is not doing much in securing farm land protecting farmers. Farmers are killed on daily basis round the country.
There is no government in the world that does not protect farmers. Even in war, recently in Ukraine a ceasefire was agreed so farmers can ship their wheat and grains.
Do you know how much of subsidy, palliative and support America give to their farmers. With a large population, food shortage is a recipe for high cost, anarchy and crime.

If only fools will see the message she's trying to pass.....
Those days, them deh teach us subsistence farming for school....
A situation wen be say household grows crops for their consumption only....
If 30% of Nigerian households grow simple crops like pepper, vegetables, tomatoes etc...... It will drastically reduce the cost of these crops...
In those days, okro for example was very cheap because in almost every home, u see okro, bitter leaf and the rest...
In my house, we have plantain, bitterleaf, scent leaf, pepper, pumpkin, palm fruit / banga, and yams so we hardly ever buy these things....
But you see youths of these days, they prefer to buy everything, smoke drugs, do hook up and fraud...
How food prices Wan take go down...
Every body is now looking to the government to provide everything..... It's messed up big time

I don't see any deception in this. In my view, this is a very good one.

Everything is not about politics. Some enjoy this as hobby.

If you have the smallest space to use, plant some vegetables, even tomatoes.

For some time now, I have been thinking of getting sand in sacks and planting at my balcony.

This is not about being poor/rich.

I very well know a relatively rich woman who has a small garden at the back of her house that yields yams, plantain, tomatoes and pepper with other vegetables. Even though on a small scale, it provides food for her family and I feel the joy on her face when she posts the pictures.

Apart from the farms in the bush, people in the villages have small gardens at the back of their houses for things like Ugwu, garden egg, etc.

This is no big deal, everything is not about politics.

I will not reply silly mentions.

How will you see any deception when you're blind mentally

This is a good initiative, for those saying they don’t have land in their compound, take a bike of 500 or bus to developing areas in your locality, talk with new land owners, they will give you a plot to farm pepper and tomato
