I don't see any deception in this. In my view, this is a very good one.

Everything is not about politics. Some enjoy this as hobby.

If you have the smallest space to use, plant some vegetables, even tomatoes.

For some time now, I have been thinking of getting sand in sacks and planting at my balcony.

This is not about being poor/rich.

I very well know a relatively rich woman who has a small garden at the back of her house that yields yams, plantain, tomatoes and pepper with other vegetables. Even though on a small scale, it provides food for her family and I feel the joy on her face when she posts the pictures.

Apart from the farms in the bush, people in the villages have small gardens at the back of their houses for things like Ugwu, garden egg, etc.

This is really no big deal, everything is not about politics. I'm not even a fan of this Government's policies

I will not reply silly mentions.
how many Nigerians own their own apartment? And to what extent can this peasant style farming feed a nation?

Wow! Oya tell seyi to go and start large scale farming in sambisa forest and I'll take you serious📢📢📢
# ENOUGH OF NONSENSE AND PROPAGANDAS 💯💯

Her short message is that we should do small garden in our homes or nearby spaces for vegetables tomatoes pepper etc to support whatever large scale farmers are bringing from the farms.

I don't know of any controversy about it. I have friends who have started it and the produce are coming out fine.

My plead is for the first lady to talk to her husband in respect of Herders. Nigerians are working day and night in the farms now but they are scared of Herders.

Cows shouldn't be allowed to eat up their efforts after spending so much money, time and efforts.

It's not to feed the whole nation. Do your own, let me do mine, and let everyone maintain small garden in their homes, it would have effects on the aggregate turn out thereby bringing down prices of food items.

Nice and matured response from you,
But my points are
1. DIVISION of LABOUR is a CRUCIAL aspect of every SANE society, Nigeria not excluded, it's counter productive to advice people to partially derelict their core speciality/ field of endeavor for farming, it doesn't augur well.
The doctor needs the engineer, the engineer needs the taylor, the Taylor needs the teachrr, the teacher needs the FARMER etc...in essence one cannot be a jack of all trades and that's why EVERY occupation is IMPORTANT, don't you think so?.....
2.until the government is sincerely ready to ruthlessly deal with INSECURITY, bandits and killer herdsmen, its tantamount to a SUICIDE MISSION for anyone to embark on small, medium or iarge scale farming in nigeria , hence my earlier admission of Mrs tinubu's gestures as PROPAGANDA. I like to call a spade a.

Honestly, I personally don't have a problem cultivating small garden at your backyard. It's a good example the first lady is showing. Even though I'm a strong critique of her husband, whom I believe didn't win election and not qualified to be Nigerian president.

Things are hard right now, especially food items. Families should learn to do small farming to help themselves. Nigerians are very lazy when it comes to farming. This is my personal experience. I did small garden in my undeveloped parcel of land in a community and people won't let my vegetables to rest, even though they could likewise do same on their own small land. We must all wake up as a nation and start believing that manners don't fall from heaven anymore.
