Long tory. The war against Biafra continued till today on the Economic and political fronts. And in the last four years, the bullet war against Biafra is being fought through fifth Columnists. Their online propagandists write: "Igbos are killing themselves because of Biafra." Nonsense talk. 1 Like 2 Shares |

From the story Nigeria army won the war because of superior fire power. If Biafra army had the kind of fire power Nigeria army had ... Either Biafra win the war or it'll have lasted more than 3 years |

Umuahia, Asaba, Enugu, Owerri are and were all within the established territory of the sovereign nation of Nigeria. When you have such rebellion, it is important to establish your presence within your domain. Leaving your stronghold and proposed territory and marching into the mid-west with the aim of reaching Lagos was comical and naive. Those baby generals totally got it wrong and paid dearly for it. Take the capital in Lagos? Are you kidding? DIVINEEVIDENCE: 2 Likes |

Richtaiwo:What warrants this? How and why did you come to the conclusion that the mention of quota system is an insult to you or to your tribe? Is any tribe mentioned in the comment? Can you explain why you perceived the guy's comment to be tribal against you? 1 Like 1 Share |

Mechonu, shallap dia. They all jealoused us and still jelousing us. They hate us in Lagos, Kano, Yaounde, Accra, Cape Town, Nairobi, Abidjan, Sao Paolo, etc. Even plus including Indonesia, Malaysia, Nepal, India, Sri Lanka and very recently Cambodia. They are all Igbo haters just jealousing us. Sharpsharp00123: |

lagonovo: You know more than Ojukwu who was trained in conventional warfare and fought an active campaign? The secessionists already proclaimed Biafra a sovereign state, complete with a map and a capital. In your little mind, they should simply sit their asses down and wait for federal forces to attack the territory before they respond? There should be no advance; only defense, occupation and retreat? Stop displaying your crass ignorance online. At the bolded, think of all the allies who offered assistance to the federal government in arms, mercenaries, intelligence, tactics and propaganda. Think of the fact that the war dragged for a little longer than three years and you'll understand the capacity and motivation of both sides. Sit down with your grandfather and ask him questions. Everything is possible in war. |

How did that go for them? It turned out to be a naive and comical decision as clearly witnessed. My little mind may not be able to comprehend a Ojukwu eventually running away in disguise despite all his training in conventional warfare and involvement in active campaign but I understand that reality is different from fantasies. His adversaries were not picked from cassava farms, they also had all the training and they thoroughly defeated him despite Gowon downplaying the need for all out attack in the name of "brotherly" war. People can embrace and romance their delusions but reality does not care about that. The move to Ore towards Lagos was daft and the result was clear. Nothing to argue about other than emotional damage control. DIVINEEVIDENCE: 1 Like |

If your brain cannot comprehend the bolded text then don't ever put your mouth in conversations about war. If you are not fully prepared for anything, as in anything!, you better make sure your issues get resolved on the negotiation table or just let it go. “What? You talk about charity here? If an enemy caught up with our wounded men, they would still be shot to ascertain they are dead before removing all they have on them and whatever ammunition found on them would still be used on us. You don’t discuss charity. This is war”. “Sorry sir”, Anthony said. After this, he learnt to keep his mouth shut. Understandably, all is fair in war! 2 Likes 1 Share |
