SolanaBtc short has reached full target of 2.59rr, while BtcUsd short is also closing on its 2.82rr target. Maybe when I have spare cash, I might venture a little into crypto world too someday and see what it feels like at the other side. The sample size on the forward testing is still small to judge yet though, but it worked well during backtesting.

Will keep testing this on crypto during weekends to gather data to see how far I can go with it.
Today is Monday, and as we open shop today, we hope for blues and not reds trade history.

If you have small capital and you are a scalper whose stop loss is 3-7 pips, every broker is likely to be unreliable for you

Yeah my people my people....quick update on my 5k and 10k stellar light account.
After securing almost 2% profits on both accounts I later lost it to nfp release and Powell talk talk.
The account now down by 1%
I reduce my risk to 0.25% from 0.5%
reduce my max open trades from 8 to 5.
Max sl is now at 38 pips.
Fingers crossed 🤞

Comparing gold in the 2016 Us Presidential election year and this year Presidential election, I can see something similar. Rally then distribution then decline, though we will have one hell of a decline this time. Trump won that election and it was relatively a good 4 years for gold. Biden won and the metal just went sideways through out. If this election is between the two of them, I can see Trump winning again. Well either ways, the next president will have more favourable policies for gold.

You didn't, market faked you out and went the other way. That's just how it works most of the time, shows you signal it's going up, immediately you long, then boom it starts dropping bad, fear of losing much, you close the long and joined the short ,then it starts going up again till the account is blown.

Once you're not sure about your entry from the beginning of entering a trade, watching candle stick behaviors will make you panic and close out the trade once it starts going against you, because all you will be seeing are conflicting picture, even though the trade could later work out, you'd have closed before it does.

Even with all certainty of entry, price will still drill you hard and stop you out times without number, not to talk of entering based on candle stick patterns alone, especially during news event. That one na die.

And please stop trading news, especially heavy ones like the NFP and co. It's even worse for a day trader with measly SL pips, spread and slippages will wreck the account in the long run. It's preached here times without number, but the greed of the pips people want to catch won't make them think of the pips they will be sacrificing too.

Yesterday gold price fell to a low of $2350 from a high of $2390 drawing a bearish candlestick. However, Gold failed to continue its upward trend and returned to its range.

Post-NFP gold prices last Friday suddenly fell to a low of $2350 but quickly the price then rolled up and finally jumped to $2392. Gold price is now back to around $2350 which may be the current support zone.

Today Jerome Powell will testify in Washington DC on the Semi-Annual Monetary Policy Report before the Senate Banking Committee. Next, there is Yellen Speaks and FOMC member Bowman Speaks.

But Powell's testimony benefited markets because of his important role. As head of the central bank, which controls short-term interest rates, he has more influence over the value of the nation's currency than anyone else.

Powell will provide 2 testimonies reading prepared, unscripted statements in which he will answer unknown questions. This moment may provide subtle clues regarding future monetary policy.

NzdCad long for 1:6rr. I'm hoping it goes further upside and only return to pick the buy limit during the London session. It will give more confluence. But don't take my word for it, I'm closing it manually that is if i'm not stopped out before 8pm.

I think it's all about discipline and knowledge, hours, months and days looking at the charts and price movements,

None of these 2 traits can be gotten quickly, but only when your limits has been tested and extended beyond the point of no return
