Simple tactical understanding. Carlos was repeatedly cooked and then left Ronald de Boer to go and block header. He can't take such decision without coaching instruction.

From he was told, to tactical understanding,

Sir, why had you not applied for a Job in NPFL for a start first?

I have scouted talent to know who a genuine talent is from their first to second touch and movement. At 16/17 you could see Nwakali/Arder/Kanu/Osimhen's talent. I just do not see that boy succeeding as a striker! I have never gone wrong with my prediction. Calafiori and Zirkzee are prime examples!

Nevertheless, I understand your point. The team you played in can also help even when you're average. There are many examples of such players too. Maybe Endrick might be one of them. lol!
TheSuperNerd:
He is 17. Relax. Boy is genuinely talented. First time impressions can be misleading sometimes in football. I know from Talent ID-ing experience.

The biggest young talent from Brazil at the moment is Estevao Willian from same Palmerias Endrick came from. Boy is a dazzling creative winger they call Messinho. Bad-ass talent.

But Endrick is a 9 and he will prove you wrong. I have watched enough of the young talents from Brazil from Endrick, to Victor Roque (before he joined Barca), to Estevao to Gabri Moscardo to wesley to Savio and others to know Endrick and Estevao are truly genuine articles.

And this is talking Brazilian talents alone. Argentina has Claudio Esheverri and Ecuador has Kendry Paez.

Give it time. Vinicius was also termed average and I am sure you would have tagged him overhyped when you saw him first in Europe. Look at Vinicius now proving everyone who doubted his talents wrong.

Is Vinicius a joke to you? Brazil missed Vinicius against Uruguay. No caps. I thought it was over with Neymar fading until Vinicius arrived on the scene. Vinicius is taking over the Neymar mantle as Brazil's new main jogo bonito super star.

Vinicius suits the modern game than Neyma because he is more direct and a better team player

I saw a YouTube clip few months ago of a kid not up to 15 years old saying that he enjoys watching old football games that were played when he wasn’t born than the one of this era

That the football of the era is way too boring

Shebi na Oga joe like documentaries, you see these football being played today? Their clips or documentaries will be so boring to watch in the future

I also think insane wages and salaries is killing the game, many football greats in the past have complained about this too

I hope so. Change is inevitable
What if it changes for the worst? They must restore the number 10. They made football special. Only that ten was like the sun around which the entire solar system of football revolved. They removed the ten, now darkness has fallen upon the game.

In the past the ten was the embodiment of skill, excitement. He was the conductor, that's why football borrowed the word maestro from music and applied it to the ten. Defenders, attackers, wingers were never described as maestros, only the ten.

Don't miss my point. I am not saying Ronaldinho won't be good. He will be a bright talent. But, won't operate on that stellar level as he did in the past. The space will limit that.
This is precisely the problem. We don't want a brand of football that inhibits players from operating at a stellar level. If Ronaldinho with all his natural endowments will - according to you - won't be able to operate at a stellar level in this space-tight football, that means you players of lesser endowments are just winging it. No wonder the game is drab and soulless.

We like it when they are cooked. It's part of what makes football organic. We don't want the plastic perfection of your modern day pass merchants.

Ronald de Boer. Netherlands vs Brazil. Cook Carlos, stew him on top. If you watched the goal Kluivert scored, Ronald de Boer crossed that ball without being marked because Carlos was asked to leave him and go and defend the goal. Because he was almost invisible. If I remember right, Kluivert's header went through Carlos leg.
No be nonsense be this? And this means what that Carlos was beaten in a game? Isn't it part of the game for such things to happen? Isn't this why we don't want your corrupt perfection that is all ornery and gaudy but useless sweetness.

Didn't Adingra cook Ola Aina who up to the point of the final had a stellar performance?

Didn't you watch Zidane cook the entire Brazilian team of Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Cafu in Germany 06?

No wonder charlesemeka85 often says that you talk as if you started watching football during Pep era.
