For some years now, I have noticed that I regularly get a flash from different phone numbers from Zimbabwe.

First I took it like nothing but when I noticed that it was almost everyday, I had to block the number.

The caller now calls me with different and very many other Zimbabwean numbers.

I have blocked over 45 numbers but the caller keeps getting other numbers and calling me with them.

Yesterday, the phone was with me when the call came, I picked it and after about 15secs, the caller ended the call.

My wife is also experiencing same.

Anybody with a similar experience?

Are you using mtn?

Never ever pick that first time, else it will be marked as an active line. Once you pick, others will follow.

Just ignore it.

I had the same issue a few years back. I just kept on ignoring it and voilà, I have not had any calls from them for more than 2 years.

Surprisingly woke up this morning to see another missed call from Zimbabwe.

Tried blocking the number and true caller is requesting I make true caller my default App for calls to be able to block numbers.

I just tire.

Pick the calls, but don’t say anything. They will stop calling you when they discover that you’re wasting their call credit

You people and wild assumption. I experience this same spam call (beeps) once to twice in a week. It usually comes past midnight. Meanwhile, I have never patronized any loan app in my life.

I suspect it's an MTN thing. My other non-MTN lines have never been called by these spammers.

I don't. At all. But I also get those calls. Usually when I'm asleep. Almost every day. Truecaller app is installed on my phone, though, and that app always intersects the calls.

Do you have any family member or friend that you haven't seen for years??

Maybe they are locked up in Zimbabwean prison seeking for help?

Get Truecaller and block number from the country.

OP It could be your ancestors that are now living there. They wanted to know when you'd be joining them there

Truecaller can perform a lot of functions.

Just set it to block calls from foreign numbers.
All you'll see anytime they call will be missed calls.

Cud it be by any app related to nin, bvn or cud it be by a security breach like if the person gets it through a dss or police?

I have been experiencing the same for about a year now. Same Zimbabwe
