Nigerian criminals are waaaay too loud, both those in the political, government & yahoo sectors.

That's why they would always be the scape goats for any & all foreign reforms by other countries even if they commit less than 10% of the crime

It must be noted that if a person is found to have perpetuated fake marriage, the consequence is inadmissibility to the United States without the option of a waiver..

In case the person is already in the US, the consequence is deportation and future inadmissibility to the United States without the option of a waiver.

It is a serious immigration crime in the US.

Someone marrys an America, what is wrong with just ccongradulating them andd walking away? NO Nigerians will tell the whole world that their fellow Nigerian who just got married just wants to get a green card. The family and friends of the American is seeing the news of the marriage on the internet and they are reading our comments....

I travel to China, I have alot of friends in China, when I bought my last mudlogging unit one one them went to Nigeria, he was talking about the level of freedom we have in Nigeria, he said you never criticize the government in China, as a matter of fact he said if the Chinese government knew he was telling me what he was telling me he may never be allowed to leave the country again.
China runs a dictatorship, but you dont know because they dont talk about it.

And Nigeria is the only country with bad leaders?
You as a Nigerian you dont know you have a role to play? The Nigerians making the country proud, did they fall from the sky?
How much have you done as a person to make Nigeria a great nation?

If Nigeria is not the only country with bad leaders then why are u having a problem with me? I don't have a role to play cos other people too might not have a role to play. I am not the only one to be assigned to play a role.

If I don't make Nigerian proud that means I am not the only one not making Nigeria proud. U can see that ur logic is warped

USCIS Investigates Nigerian Men Over Green Card Marriage Scams

Due to the perceived high number of cases involving claims of marriage fraud by the USCIS, particularly involving men from Nigeria, it has become increasingly difficult for Nigerians to obtain visas to the US. An American lawyer, when asked about the reasons behind this, explained: “When someone from Nigeria, or any country, goes to the embassy and gets a visa to the United States, often they only receive a visitor visa if they are married. The consular official needs to know that the beneficiary of the non-immigrant application is going to return to their home country. Leaving a spouse behind is evidence that the person intends to come back.

Between 2017 and 2022, many non-immigrant visas were granted to Nigerians because they were married. Now, these marriages are under intense scrutiny. In some cases, the marriages were never valid, there wasn't a real person involved, they never formally got married, or they never formally divorced. Sometimes people fake a marriage just to get the visa, and once they arrive in the US, they file for divorce and then marry an American to obtain a green card.”

As a result of the high incidence of fake marriages and marriage fraud, the State Department is now investigating these cases, as many marriage decrees from Nigeria have been found to be fake.

The American lawyer concluded his talk with tips and advice for Nigerians on how to get their visas approved.

it's not necessarily fake. The men just want a better life that's why they remarry over there to change their status

Sadly true.

Nigerians have been dehumanized and traumatized by decades of bad leadership by useless men who parade themselves as Presidents and Governors.

That is the problem.

Our mindset have been altered badly by the corrupt ruling class over the years and it has turned Nigerians to one of the worst humans on earth today no jokes
