So inherited debt should not be paid isn’t it? Otti paid Abia state’s judicials but ignored civil servants. Yet low life like you will want to defend rubbish undecided

Use your head. They are being owed 11 months salaries under Otti. It would be more than a year if it was ikpeazu owing them undecided

That is inherited debt... 11 months debt

The news is falsehood.. They should have made the public know it's past administration

Haven't you heard that government is a continuity?

When Tinubu said Buhari printed #23t in Ways and Means, you guys said he shouldn't give excuses.

Most of you don't have understanding of how government works but to just open mouth and talk to the winds.

Ask Otti if it's that easy.

Otti is doing wonders Mr man

You’re trying so hard to defend your best Governor in Nigeria but those workers are not kids, they are parents and grand parents who are being owed 11 Months salaries. Otti has spent 1 year and two months as a governor yet he’s owing 11 months already which is not cool.

I work at ABSU. The fact is that Okezie Ikpeazu's administration owed us for 11 months but now it's 14 months. We were engaging the past government over payment. Non payment of these arrears was among the reason why we voted PDP out and the fact that LP promised to pay all arrears before the end of last year.
Till now, they've not paid the arrears and have started adding their own arrears by not paying us April, May and June salaries, hence the need for the protest.
We've been subjected to series of verifications and nothing so far to show for it. We've accepted the fact that all politicians are the same and don't want to sit and wait for another series of unpaid salaries to pile up again.

Is Otti in competition with Aregbesola and GY Bello (current holders of gold and silver medals in salary owing matter)? Because what is this?

Something that he met in ground ?

What's Alex Otti's fault if the PDP that handed over to him a year ago couldn't pay workers minimum wage for years before the inception of his government?

Rest abeg

Government is continuous.....
Get this fact into your head......

Tinubu must pay all the money past government borrowed.....

They think the masses are as daft as they are?

The humongous amount of arrears that these guys were owing Abia workers is out of this world until Otti came and is gradually offsetting and cleansing their mess. It will take a while but I believe Otti will clear everything.

These that are protesting should first check if they are amongst the ghost workers initially struck out by Otti...

At least he is not owing like them grin

I would have expected you to blame the Lagos Ibadan expressway newspapers as usual.

I am sure Otti's media aide is not sweating as profusely as you are now.

Pathetic hypocrites!

What I wrote here was 100% fact as an insider. You are actually speaking based on your blind support for the government. Abia State is owing me and Abia State has to pay me. I didn't deny the fact that part of the arrears is from the last government and LP, while campaigning promised to offset the arrears before the end of 2023.
We did not protest only because of 11 months arrears but the fact that Alex Otti's government is owing us additional 3 months arrears.
Don't confront issues blindly. 14 months salary is a big deal.

Mr man what the government is owning is 11month arrears... Why didn't u people put ikpeazu under pressure. U guys left him unchecked.
For your information... It's the good people of abia state that voted otti in and not a few teachers in ABSU.

How? These are inherited debt

Soludo, Sani and other governors inherited debts from their predecessors but there is no reports of owning eleven months salary against them.

I have been verified if that's the basis for payment but the Government is still owing me.
We put Ikpeazu on pressure too. Everything is not an attack on the government. We all joined hands to castigate Ikpeazu's government and we won't stop now.

This is the last time I'll reply you.

Inherited or not. Tell your pay master to pay up. If he can't govern properly, he should resign and let someone who can take the leadership position.
