justwise: Read me very well I mean you are becoming unprofessional i never wrote that you accuse me of scam. @Sisib15 you just replied is not supposed to be replied by you. You are giving room for them to attack me again. The worst is to block me from nairaland . Ask @Sisib15 to give you evidence . |

Hello house, I filled a new DS 160 form and updated same on my CGI profile. The usual practice is to wait for 3 days for the update to take effect before printing a new appointment letter, but to my surprise when I clicked on appointment, I saw that the DS 160 id number has been updated already on the appointment letter just after few minutes. Has any one observed this |

FAMILY247: It has always been instant. It is the actual submission that people recommend you submit at least 3days to your interview |

OyoTunjiUSA: ENOUGH ! MR OYOTUNJI OR WHATEVER. We are not here to claim anything. We are here to help for FREE. Don’t contribute and ‘drive’ people back stage by saying ‘DM me’ or ‘Mail me’ to know deeply how I can solve your issue… bla bla . You are not solving anyone’s issue here you are only adding to what people are saying. In a clear fact about 30% of what you are writing is truly based on your experience and others experience. 70% is for sure misleading. I am a French citizen living in the USA for over 15 years. I have worked and served the Ministry of Foreing affairs and French Embassy in the USA with many years of experience. I have gone through your responses and they are calm but very dangerous and highly misleading. You are giving ‘very old’ information and observations of about 8 years ago! US VISA is not what you think it is for NIGERIANS ! @justwise I have known you to be a moderator especially on the travel thread for over 10 years. DO NOT ALLOW a moniker hider or hidding Agent mislead people and disrespect you. YOU NEED TO ACT! OyoTunjiUSA must be blocked at this POINT. HE KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING ! 4 Likes 1 Share |

Harzontorh: I have watched him give so many people misleading and outright false information. Unfortunately, many Nigerians prefer to hear what sounds good rather than the truth so they fall for whatever he tells them. What he is doing is dangerous and it’s heartbreaking to see people take bad advice that will hurt them in the future, causing irreparable harm to their chances of being approved for a visa. 4 Likes 1 Share |

justwise, who to you think own these monikers that just commented above? XSpectacle76 Omotoniachebe Docjay042 I won't say you don't know the moniker behind the accounts because you have the experience dealing with something like this. If you really want this messing up to end today, you know 100% what to do. Even though Hydra will always grow new heads when you cut off one. Don't relent, keep on cutting the heads. I rest my case! |

I just made research now and I am not eligible for Mpower loan because of the "graduating within two years" requirement. I'm using my 100 level transcript to get into year two in which means graduating in three years time, please which other loan organization can you recommend as I'm broken and shattered now. Please just help me. |
Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 18 by Zihno: 8:39pm On Jul 09 |

ObamaMessi: Even if you had gotten it, it wouldn’t have helped much. You can’t afford the education. Try applying to schools that promises to fund all admitted undergraduate students from low income backgrounds or apply to schools that grant scholarships that cover the entire COA. Another option is to finish your bachelor’s degree in Nigeria. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Hello guys.. please what's a service code when paying for your SEVIS fee? I was asked to provide a service code while trying to pay for my SEVIS fee at western union office |
Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 18 by chidiakwari: 10:31pm On Jul 09 |
Greatkenny2:You have to generate a coupon with the Sevis number on your form I-120. Here is the link: https://www.fmjfee.com/i901fee/index.html Select pay with Western Union if you’re using it or pay with check. 1 Like |

chidiakwari: Please I've done everything.. my sister is the one trying to Pay for me, they asked her for a service code when she got to Western union office... Have you heard something like this before?, I told her to check another branch of their office... PS, western union and check, which is more convenient and takes less time to process? Please do you have any idea? |
Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 18 by chidiakwari: 11:57pm On Jul 09 |
Greatkenny2:If you had taken time to follow the instruction, you won’t be asking this question. I literally just pointed you how to generate a code and you’re still asking me question. Did you even open the link |

chidiakwari: Not everyone understands like you, people are different and this is what makes us all unique. If you truly want to provide help, do it with empathy and not anger. That's one thing @OyoTunjiUSA does that makes him better, even though the allegations are too many, he's always ready to help all day and night. I don't know it all in your field, you don't know it all in my field. That's why we're all unique and different. |

@chidiakwari don't get me wrong, you're doing great by helping people like me on this thread. The issue is your temperament, please always take it easy with people like me who are new to this. Thank you |

VeeInsider: Lol. If you want to leave the country to study, you should be able to follow clear and easy instructions. You should also be able to run your own research. You are not a child. You can read. Read the instructions carefully and apply it. Not rush over it while expecting someone else to do it for you. 2 Likes |

In general, there are a few private student loans that may be available to some international students, besides mpower. However, they will certainly require a US citizen or PR as a cosigner and the cosigner must have good credit. You can google private student loans and browse through their requirements. In my own opinion, private student loans are not worth it, especially for an undergraduate degree. Even American students do not usually seek private loans. They exhaust FAFSA and other public loans before applying for private loans. Additionally, you will likely end up repaying at least twice the loan amount and incur more debt when you got to grad school. A loan amount that covers most of your tuition and living expenses will also undercut your non-immigrant intent in the eyes of a VO because you have got to repay the loan amount. A job in Nigeria is not going to cover your repayment plan! Like Zihno said, it is best to either look for schools that offer scholarships, apply to undergraduate programs that you can afford, or graduate from your current undergrad program and then apply to a graduate program that offers funding.
