Lol I know this kind of news will feel like sending a very sharp dagger into the heart of an average Igbo. Their fixation on Lagos has awaken Yorubas' awareness and there is no going back again. cool

Brilliant!
This is Yoruba land. All our laws should be in our native Yoruba language first then others such as English and Arabic.

Lagos State is Lagos Colony. At best, it's a product of multi-ethnic...cultural, social & even national society as former Federal Capital Territory.

Trying to relegate such Status to a Yoruba State is mischievous, primitive & counterproductive; it doesn't help its status at all.

Even the North HV not tried to even suggest Abuja as a Northern enclave.

Allow Lagos State to evolve into a systematic global Status with efficient infrastructure & systems like Dubai, etc (HV U ever seen the Arabs (with regard to Dubai) with loud speakers forcing everything & anything Arab down the throats of the world?)! Stop dragging it down & back with Yorubaness; it doesn't help at all. Is there no reason why it's called Lagos and not Ogbomosho State.

Perhaps, we could suggest to dem dem to consider & change the name from Lagos State to ... Stupid & primitive thinkers! The real Lagos Indigenes don't appreciate what these "encroachers & invaders" from neighbouring SW States are doing to Lagos State. They abandoned South West States & are looting Lagos State to death! Recall, how these invaders go declare Oro on an (gubernatorial) election day!

Caution: The above except is for reasonable thinkers & not for stupid folks!

Yorubas are so advanced, we can now use AI to translate our laws while others struggle to keep up. Omo Yoruba, no one can stop us!

Keep on exposing your little brain. Using AI to translate any language is a simple as ABC. That's the easiest job AI can do within seconds

Lagos state is for true sons and daughters of Lagos . So if you're from Osun, Ogun, Ondo, Oyo and Ekiti , know that Lagos is not your state of origin so stop attaching to Lagos by force .

That goes without saying, which Osun Ondo Oyo or Ekiti indigènes do you see claiming Lagos, some Ogun can claim Lagos because some parts of Ogun State was captured into the Lagos State places like Epe, areas across the Ketu river, fringes of Sango and Ikorodu.

Wail all you want Chinedu Rhodes Vivour would not become Lagos State governor

How much is the contract ?

This is a very bad idea and dead on arrival. This is just another way to loot people's money.

A lot of people already understand English on basic level and even conversing or speaking. Yoruba is very hard for to read and write for Yoruba pikin. Most market women and agberos do well with English or pseudo English called pigdin.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

No wonder Desmond Elliot called you and your likes children.....

English na your father language? No wonder most of you are battling with identity crisis...

Yoruba is hard to read and write for even Yoruba indigenes. Why is this a notable project?
Aren't there other projects that are more important? This is similar to creating a new national anthem as a project when nobody cares about it.
Re: LASG To Translate Lagos State Laws Into Yoruba Using AI by Augustine2244(m): 8:06am On Jul 10
My Igbo brethren now would find a way to wail forgetting that Lagos state is part of Yoruba land. Some especially Obidients would systematically try to connect the state government's decision to BAT, and the current economic crisis.
One thing I love about Yorubas is their tight hold to their language, wherever they are.
A Yoruba man or woman will never ever greet a fellow Yoruba in English.
NEVER!
But We Igbos will greet fellow Igbos in English.
Even Northerners never do that.
Nupe will greet" Kube Lazhin" to fellow Nupe for morning,Kube gidi for afternoon and Kube Lozu for evening.
Hausa will greet " Ina kwana" for morning,Ina Wuni" for afternoon/evening.
It's Igbos that are the only major ethnicity greeting in English.
Lol! What a people!
Are we ashamed of our native words for good morning, good afternoon and good evening?
