Yes…100% My younger sister did same without issues. Especially as he’s probably claiming sibling points off you and you have to provide documents to prove your relationship when he’s applying anyways. Cheers achalugo0612: 1 Like |

Hi everyone. Please I have a question. My job duties align with noc 21222 - Information systems specialists but I don't have a degree in the listed courses under employment requirements. Can I still go with the noc? |

Hello house, about doing a police report, do I use my wife's previous surname (that's what's on her passport), or she uses my name? NB: She's already done a change of surname to mine, and her BVN has my name, but her international passport is from before marriage. |

Work experience does NOT need to match education/degree for FSW (except for practicing Doctors/Pharmacists). FSW work experience is not about what you studied as a degree, but what you do/did in your job e.g. an engineering graduate working as a barber must choose the NOC for barbers not engineers. Also your job description in your reference letter must match the barber NOC. In order to be assigned points under FSW for foreign (non- Canadian) work experience, you must have performed the actions described in the lead statement, a substantial number of the main duties, including all essential duties of your chosen NOC and be paid. codedarrow:Yes, her BVN has my name on it. So does it matter if the surname on her passport is different from the surname on the police report? |

Hello everyone, I’m new here. I got ITA from the last draw, I already live in Canada so the POf was able to gather since I got the ITA has been in CAD. What’ are the best options to prove the funds. I work and my annual income is 60k, is that enough? I’m just concerned that the duration in account will be a concern. Also my police certificate carries a different middle name, will an affidavit of one and same name from my home country be accepted, considering that I live in Canada. I look forward to responds, thank you 1 Like |

How long have you been working in Canada? How did you raise the money? Saving or Part previous PoF? In addition to bank ref letter and Statement of account, I believe 3-6 months payslips(to show you can conveniently save the POF), employment letter and perhaps a short LOE explaining, I saved $12345 over xxxx period for the purpose of my immigration would help your case. Which date will the affidavit have? If it’s recent, you should get affidavit in Canada, I think it’s $20/$25 for one. Cheers TomisinFemi: 2 Likes |

You don't need to have a degree in your NOC, it is your work duties, which must be included in your work reference letter, that is important. Precept: |

Good Day, I’m in need of assistance. I’m new in the traveling process and trying to evaluate my credentials from LASU with Iqas. I want to know if anyone from LASU has successfully gotten theirs evaluated. This is because after inserting my details on their site, Iqas claimed LASU has conditional institution status which means my credentials may or may not be assessed if there’s any LASU alumni who can attest to using their service I’ll really appreciate Or if anyone knows which ECA association is advisable for LLB. Thank you |

Sletchy:The bolded is generic. You can use CES, advisably. They assess Llb as a professional degree. |
