Please I was denied visa yesterday with the following reasons
"They said I didn't convince him that I will leave Canada after studies, and not sufficient fund and I submitted a document that lack authenticity"

Please what do you advise me to do next ❓❓❓

An international student cannot get a study permit approved if the school is not a DLI school. However, they will need to be sure their program is eligible for PGWP. You mixed that up alot.

Also, I was hoping to see how You can apply for a one-year permit and reapply for admission as you said in your write up. Guess what you meant was "you can apply for a 1 year program and reapply for admission.

@zubizareta how can I send you a message

Did you use an agent for the application? Get your notes in the first instance.

Very important to do your photocopy and printing before you get there because it is 1k per page for photocopy. I have my own personal printer and printed all my documents getting there. But I photocopied my passport data page in B&W instead of colored. That's how a tout lied to me that they only accept colored print outs. I photocopied the two required copies of my data page for 2k. Only to enter inside VFS office and see they collected black and white print outs from other people. Don't let anyone lie to you that colored print out is the only document requirement.

adezeih:

The bus stop is Ikate (Round About). I will also suggest you do all necessary photocopies and printings before coming. You may end up paying 1k to 2k for printing per page

How many copies of the documents that will be needed? 2 each? And what documents?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by MarksmanD: 1:25pm On Jul 09
Only your passport data page needs 2 copies, because they'll collect one copy from you, while the second copy is the one you must bring along with you for passport submission. Other documents requires just one copy.

Good Afternoon house. Pls i want to ask if anyone else has experienced a situation where they applied for a programme but havent heard back after 2 months since application. I applied for a phd programme and its going on 9/10 weeks since my application yet my application still says under processing. Would love any insight into this.

You aren't providing enough information for members of the house to know if they have gone through the process.

School Name?
Province?
Course?

However, you will get good feedback from the school if you reach out to them.

Someone should please help me read through the sponsorship letter for any corrections or suggestions thank you

Very good letter but I have a suggestion.
From the excerpts;

"I also have the funds for his living expenses ready and available, which would be sent
to his dollar domiciliary account as soon as he is given the visa."

Visa Officer might not buy the above

Try hard to make this fund available and accessible to the applicant,
Preferably,You cab buy a GIC or deposit the funds in applicant naira account

Give more details about your application, this can happen when the VO has doubts about your intention to leave Canada after the end of your program, also can you spot the documents that weren't authentic, you may want to work on that and submit authentic documents, work on your finance. You can order your GCMS notes before considering reapplying.

Please help

Your course does not make your spouse eligible for SOWP, the closest you can do is VV for your spouse and SP for the kids, your spouse cannot work.

If you have enough POF to cover for everyone and strong home ties then you can apply together otherwise, get yours first and apply for them later.

Alhamdulillah!!!

Grateful to everyone here that has been dropping knowledge and experience based hints here.
Got my Visa today after 3 different tries ( one visiting and two studies).
I submitted my documents on June 3rd and got a request to submit passport on June 27. I submitted my passport on July 4 and got a message to pick it on July 8. Everything happened within a month

I first got the note on the previous denial. Chief on the reason wa my bank statement not being clear, after compressing it so much. I only used the mybankstatement link this time around
I used an agent. We used GCI certificate and I added more fund to my local account, I increased it to 16m
