Didn't fall, not rooted and haven't installed any new apps. Also booted into safe mode just to he sure its not a 3rd party app issue but still happens.

Could be the light sensor is acting up, if you have a screen guard, probably dust has too much settled there causing the issue. if it aint that then the screen dey touch for the panel, you may need to open up the phone and do some cleaning.

Its almost like the first picture, but now it fully blank.. i can't buy that phone cos sooner or later, it will spread up and end up like the one with me.. i will kuku change the screen now, get screen protector and continue rocking the phone

This phones are fitted with sensors to detect this things... especially phones that are water resistant, which means your phone is not water proof...

Most newer phones are not waterproof but they are water-resistant. It means they can get wet for a short time...

So those moisture detection sensors are to help u dry the phone on time before it causes further damage...


I recommend you put it in a bowl of rice and maybe under fan, for a couple of hours
