Good morning all, please what is the website to apply for France visa and what is the website to use to book an appointment for the visa?

I will appreciate your assistance, thank you.

From what you have written here, you have it a bit coupled.
1. Your best bet apply in South Africa.
2. Why aren’t you going with your family when it’s not a work trip.
3. You still need a Schengen insurance irrespective of the one you have for SA except it’s a worldwide insurance.
4. With Schengen it’s not about money and properties.
You have to be able to convince these psychologists that you deserve this and would leave their territory.
5. To a Schengen visa officer, South Africa , UAE nor be abroad.
6. Read pages of this thread and you then chose how you want to start.
7. Any other questions, shoot we are here and would do our bit.
Good luck.

JoeOge22:
Good evening friends,

I am applying for Shengen visa (France). I have only filled out the basics online but I have not submitted my application. I need assistance on how to arrange my supporting documents.

I basically live in Nigeria and South Africa on one month intervals so I have a South Africa work permit valid for 3 years on my passport.

2 personal registered businesses (In Nigeria)

My bank account has a balance of about 30M Naira (purposely saved for this trip since January) I transferred this money from my business account into my personal account since January and have left it there. there are other inflows and outflows going on in my account but has always maintained a minimum balance of at least 30m Naira since January till date.

I have landed properties (one with CofO and the other have no C of O.

I am married and have children, family lives full time in Nigeria. But they are not going with me on the trip.

I have comprehensive health insurance in South Africa that covers when I am overseas.

Please, I need assistance on how to prepare my documents in a way that it makes good sense and gives low chances of refusal.
I will appreciate your responses.

Thanks you.

Ireland just cancelled visa free for South Africa because of Nigerians findings a loophole into our laws to get to Europe. Guys just stay home and stop being parasites. The fact that is difficult to get visa in Nigeria it shows the world is tired of you guys. Now want to abuse the South African path which hurts our reputation that we are a gateway for Nigerians.

I don’t understand what exactly you are doing in this forum? If you are a South African?

South Africans never run away from our country we travel for business or holiday then go home, unlike Nigerians who travel to be beggars and noisemakers in other countries. Come to South Africa you will find undocumented Nigerians roaming around like parasites contributing more to our crime stats.

Yes it's true. You guys don't like to run away from your home land so that you kill the rest of your brothers and sisters. Yes we like to run away from our country but it's still better than you guys that kill your brothers and sisters like animals.

1. Am no brother to criminal.
2. People who died were criminals killed by mob(even South African criminals get the same fate)and it happens in the ghettos or the filthy side of town where to find most illegal immigrants.
3. No Nigerian was killed . Nigerians are killing each other over drug wars and rituals, their involved in crimes in South Africa watch a show called Sizokthola where they burst drugs dealers in South Africa 80% is Nigerian both Igbo and Yoruba.
4. The so called xenophobia started when a taxi driver confronted a Nigerian about selling drugs at the taxi rank then drug dealers killed the taxis driver which made other taxi drivers retaliate against all suspected drug dealers and businesses fronting for drugs(which your media never touched on)
5 I have no problem with documented Nigerians not involved in crimes, pity most in South Africa are either undocumented or involved in crime.
6. Fix your gut so that you can stop begging to be treated with dignity in a country like South Africa and other Asian or European countries

Yes we have figures because South Africans travel with proper documentations for example I can tell you the we have +- 150 South African in Nigeria and they were all registered to vote in the last elections .106 were registered in Lagos and 39 in Abuja none of them are running around the streets of Nigeria like headless parasites committing crime and fighting with immigration officers like Nigerians in other countries

I don't even know why you guys are entertaining this person.

Someone came to a foreign forum, decided to be a parasite and is talking about people going to foreign countries and being parasites....The irony.

Stop engaging and hopefully they will go back to being a silent observer.

I wanna ask if there’s a way I can reach the French consulate if I want to discontinue my application. I had contact TLS so many times and they couldn’t help at all. It’s going to be two months in couple of days since I applied and for a type C visa, the time frame is way too long.
Belgium will start receiving applications back by July 22 and I’ll love to submit my passport with them but I can’t do anything with my passport still with the French consulate and no sign of them returning it back soon

Call them and ask all those foreigners that picked the call to pass the call to the consulate or ask your wife to email them directly or call them they will respond

When she emailed them, all she revived was an automated message telling her that they don’t disclose the status of applications.
And when we called the number on their website, the response we got that they can’t have anything to say because the number is for French citizens in Nigeria alone.
They are not being helpful at all. I’ll have to call again today

Exactly! It’s not like I’m applying for a D national visa. Even if they had to do further investigation, 45 days is the max. Norway issued the same visa under the same category in 3 days. I decided to use France coz of the proximity which is the reason why I’m suspecting they are delaying it.
