It is true but based on the principle of demand and supply I don’t think that rate will be coming down anytime soon.

Yes, they use the rate of the day you submit your application. Just make sure you have the required fund on the day of submission, you will be fine.

Thank you. I'm just scared the exchange rate will go up again before the application date which will likely be next week after I get my CAS. But fingers crossed.

You are yet to get your CAS ?? why didn't you process the CAS the whole time you are running POF ? You should have just make it in a way that as you are printing the bank statement, you apply for visa straight up, that way you don't spend alot of money on owo bank.

So, we're basically in the same boat here. Did the exchange rate absorb the funds in your account? Because I wanted to know if you can use the same statement for the visa application regardless of how the rate misbehaves.

You can use the same statement you submitted for CAS, but I think the validity is 31 days.(I stand to be corrected)

While this is not the case for all, Most schools now request Bank Statements before CAS can be issued. Nothing you fit do o that 28 days must be complete.

3 weeks is a lot. Have you been following up? Email? Phone Calls (though expensive sha)

You can use same bank statement for CAS for VISA application, however, if the exchange rate don swallow the POF, Please don't proceed to apply for Visa.

If the shortage difference is 1 naira or pound, the application will be refused.

Omo, mine is better then, paid tuition deposit on Monday, and I got my CAS yesterday without even doing anything.

I did mine with them, the result will be sent to your email same day, Buh the certificate will not be ready same day. You have to go back the next day to collect the certificate.

I don’t think you can. The one they gave me the next day was printed on a yellow thick paper, so best thing is to go back to the hospital and get the hard copy result.

Additional Payment was made before CAS was even issued, and the school said they'll communicate with Home Office --- Apparently, they didn't.

If the additional payment was updated, the POF would fly.

Few days after biometrics, she got a mail that her application is not straightforward and needed to upload a send a few more documents to support the visa application. She sent a letter from her bank showing that her partner was a signatory to her account and also sent rent receipt, seperate bank statements of both of them showing same address and receipt of tv bought in both their names. Today she got a mail that she has been scheduled for a zoom meeting with the home office as they are trying to conclude her application. Has anyone had this experience and what are the likely questions they might ask? Pls help🙏

If he is her partner it’s no big deal.
she should know the program he is studying, its duration, how long he has been in the UK, how they first met (date), how they have been keeping in touch since he travelled e.t.c.

It's something she can handle it he is her partner.

At least let her remember the date on her marriage cert.

It was same day result last year, but early this year around March, someone who did it on a Tuesday and was told to come for the result on a Thursday.
