I have been avoiding this ish but let me drop one or two lines. Perhaps you don't know Livestock refers to domesticated animals that are raised in an agricultural setting to produce commodities such as meat, milk, leather, wool, eggs and other products.

Livestock ain't limited to cows alone bruh, it also includes pigs and poultry. While Northerners are much more into cow, sheep, goat business, Sourtherners are into pigs, poultry business hence its a win win for every part of the Country.

Lastly, when I swore prosperity is close few days ago, some dude felt like it trolling again. See my fellow Abians singing 'on your mandate' in local dialect coz of just a 'strategic move' by Mr. President.

More good news are coming. Prosperity is so close.

Make I just catch Ikorodu LG chairman one on one first.

Kosofe has many highbrow areas compared to Ikorodu. Areas like Magodo, Ogudu, Gbagada are under Kosofe. The tenement rates generated there fit pass Ikorodu LGA as a whole.

Also, Ikorodu is way too big for one LG, also including the population of low income earners living there. After Sabo, all those areas suppose go join Sagamu Local government.

I'm not making a case for mediocrity oh, but some circumstances suppose dey considered

Na why them create 2 LCDA for Ikorodu now. Ikorodu North and East (I'm sure of the North because that's where I live).

We are just not seeing anything the man is doing. Go anywhere in Ikorodu and you will hear people saying good things about Jimi Benson, you will think he's the elected chairman. Infact na Jimi Benson tarred our street from beginning to end with street light.

Make I just catch the chairman first one on one, we get talk.

@The bold. Somebody finally says things the way they are.

Most people almost make that deliberate error of comparing two things/situations that are not the same.

As the saying goes: To whom much is given, much is expected. The kind of revenue that can be generated internally in LGA's like Kosofe, Ikeja, Ojo, Eti-Osa and Lagos Island will definitely dwarf whatever LGA's like Epe, Badagry, Ifako Ijaiye, Agege etc can generate.

Seeing the first set chairmen of the first set of LGA's doing really well in terms of infrastructure will definitely be a normal thing, but it becomes an anomaly of they are being bested by LGA chairmen of Epe, Agege, Ifako Ijaiye, etc in terms of quality projects despite paucity of funds.

It is just the same way people just wake and start comparing Lagos state with other states that do not have the good grace of enjoying the privilege of being Nigeria's commercial capital.

Sometimes when u point these things out, people will see it as u supporting mediocrity.

That being said, I believe one thing that is needed mostly in Nigeria is the full implementation of the Freedom of Information (FOI) act. Let LGA's publish their own financial accounts too; let it be accessible by the public.

If I know my LGA only made/received N1billion , I will tailor my expectations of their administration's infrastructural project to be within that budget. I won't judge my LGA from the viewpoint of someone whose LGA has N15billion at their disposal. I think that will also help u know LGA chairman wey dey steal funds pass; u will be able to evaluate project on ground with the funds they claimed they utilized on it.

We are not even asking both of them to do gigantic projects, at least even if na small workings make them show. Both Chiairman for Ikorodu just dey gba. Na Jimi Benson dey Abuja but na Jimi Benson we dey see pass.

Between last year and this year, I've seen Jimi Benson like 4 twice when he comes for citizens engagement, I never see my chairman once.

I said it here yesterday that most of those LCDA/LGA chairmen focus on using the chairmanship to raise funds for their future political adventure.

Where I used to live before, we had one vice chairman like that. No meaningful impact all through the two terms he served. Himself (Vice Chairman ) and the Chairman just use the two terms lift their two financial status ni. Before the end of their tenure both bought houses in Lekki and left roads and other infrastructure worse than they met them.

The issue is after sacking, you won't receive money for those LGA.
So the governor really gains nothing as much.

The situation here is this, how will governors react to this for the 2027 election in backing Tinuke?

Whether they back him or not, what is done is done.

The supreme court judgement is final. Even if a new president is voted tomorrow, LG autonomy is here to stay.

the problem for me is the double standard

when it was time to kick the wife out for witchcraft shirk no one considered she was doing this as a desperate last ditch move to save her marriage and stop an usurper. in fact i am sure the same imams and lawyers all bandied together to push out the unbelieving kafir

but when the tables were turned everyone is now defending lying

this is actually one reason why you have vitrolic feminists because they can see the game where men will gather around and use the religious texts to defend every thing they do where women get the short end if the stick

it is why i have always said as a man in africa you can get away with anything, and as a woman in the west you can also get away with anything

i am sure our former aviation minister and his children can therefore also lie on the Quran, since imprisonment means separating a family.
i am sure all our devout thieving politicians reference this hadith when they lie before nigerians , business partners etal

after all, i grew up with people shouting walahi talahi in front of me while i knew they were lying through their teeth
