Why are you guys always bitter, especially everything about the Yorubas?

I observed this too but the intensity increased when Nnamdi Kanu emerged. He spread too much hate - hate speech between the tribes in Nigeria and his tribe.

Apart from ministers and aides, Jonathan’s wife, Patience, and his cousin, Azibaola Robert, who is the Managing Director of OnePlus Holdings, are also under probe for an alleged $20m and $40m fraud respectively.

The man is 90 years old, he was already a national figure in his early thirties. What are you doing with your own life?
Soyinka was born a Nigerian just like you were born a Nigerian. What will anyone remember you for?
You are shamelessly asking a 90 year old man for his assessment of what will impact your own future!
What a generation!

His assessment has been bought by ThiefNuibu’s national theatre honour, just as APC bought him with Amaechi’s multi million 80th birthday 10 years ago.

Do u understand me at all?

I'm not talking about Achebe, I care less about him

My point is that the world thinks differently about Soyinka. They see him as a global Icon

A Moroccan Academy was the first to celebrate his birthday this week. They dont care what u think and thats a fact
Neither do I care about what they think...
And, even the recognition came as a result of academics which I won't talk down on...
Many Nigerians has same but have doing more to steering of the nation in the positive direction. Him I won't deny was on course until of recent as his recent antecedents has revealed his tribalistic and a hypocrite.

Did the Moroccan Academy mention anything about his positive contribution to development of Nigeria, if they did, it would be as a result of his past actions.

Soyinka can't be honoured on his recent actions.
And like I said before, it doesn't end in the east as even your brothers also criticised him.

There is nothing honorable about Achebe.

He was an ethnic jingoistic, reason why his name does not carry weight.

His last book gave him up as a tribal bigot.
Everything about him is honourable
But same can't be said about Soyinka that his recent antecedents has revealed whom he is.

I don’t know what you mean by Obidients, but if it means speaking up for the soul of Nigeria, then I am gladly one. You folks think Nigeria is a joke that’s why you would make everything about sentiments. You truly applaud the happenings in Nigeria because you want to prove a point against Obidients? You have time to speak up for the truth. We understand you made a wrong political choice. But if you keep up closing your eyes to the woes of this nation, my prayer is that you and all that concerns you will rep a thousand folds the seeds of its failure when it comes tumbling. No matter where you run to, the recompense for evil borne from the cries of souls who are dying and have died due to the compromises of government will rest upon you. On that day of reckoning, you seek to recant but it will be too late.

Nice one, despite I'm upset with Soyinka for bringing cultist into Nigeria Instiitution still celebrate him in some occassion.

I'm sure those busy body haters of Nigeria wont still like this?

Now Tinubu is acting in the wat I have be saying, he should use Buhari silent killer tactics because if you like go to Aso Rock chamber to insult Buhari he will be looking at you like a dog without uttering a word, Tinubu should tell Onanuga to stop answering any idiot and Aso Rock doors should be shut against some hypocrites like Ndume and his gang.

Obidients the wailers how market? We want more wailing from ya all bitch.

The Gbaju e crooner has now been handsomely rewarded for his silence and for not speaking up against the worst regime in the history of this country.

This is someone who spoke against one of the best regimes in the history of this country, the Goodluck Jonathan government. He even went as far as describing the then president, Goodluck Jonathan, to be worse than Nebuchadnezzar.

lol wetin u expect lol I sha know say na still national theatre I go call am plus what is the relevance of the theatre sef when anything barely happens there lol!

Balablu propaganda lies.
Why is the economy worse, inflation worse, unemployment worse even insecurity worse since 2015 despite increased loans if not the reckless looting of the Abacha PTF associate that JagaBandit made president to earn his Ebilokan turn?

Nigeria has dropped five places on the 2021 corruption perception index published by Transparency International (TI). In the 2021 index released on Tuesday, the country scored 24 out of 100 points — ranking 154 out of 180 countries.

In the 2020 index, Nigeria had scored 25 out of 100 points, ranking 149 out of the 180 countries surveyed.

The development means that Nigeria dropped to 154 — five places down — out of the 180 countries surveyed, in comparison with the 2020 rating.

It also scored 25 out of 100 points — less than the 24 points obtained in the 2020 CPI.

This is the worst ranking the country has got under the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.

In 2015, Nigeria was ranked 136th; 136th in 2016; 148th in 2017; 144th in 2018; 146th in 2019, and 149th in 2020.

Soyinka was not imprisoned for his solidarity with Biafra struggle, And if even he was, does that make him infallible that we can question his actions or inaction in 2024?

maasoap:

You do realise that Wole Soyinka was imprisoned for his solidarity with Biafra struggle and that was 1960s? Today, he has become Gbaju e coroner, lol. Give the man some breathing space because he had been speaking up before your father was born.
