The ban came as a result of how the enforcers followed the religion but aren't following it holistically. They are also not considering non practitioners of that religion in that state as if they don't matter.
If Nigeria is a one religion country, laws like that ll be meaningful.
We v to be careful of infringing on others rights! Nevertheless, their are pressing issues of economic growth. That's the priority of every sane society.
So it's surprising how Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar etc are moving forward and their followers here are retrogressing. Change is inevitable without derailing on religious tenets.

Hisbah is making ridiculous laws in the state while the law makers are sitting around to collect their paycheck at the end of the month.

Everything is just lopsided in this country.
