phemmie06: When you will have Sense, people will take you serious, my state IMO state has the highest natural gas, I don't understand what you are sayong, if you ain't a bloody northerner with barren land and a worthless religion, you will be all these meaningless Yoruba muslims who are confused and don't know their right from left. Let me ask your why did imbeciles like your father wedge war against us when we said we want to leave this cursed contraception? |

Goodvibes007: You're supporting that person because you're as deluded as he is. The SE has crude oil though not as large volume as the SS. Imo State in SE has the largest natural gas deposits in Africa, more than 10 trillion cubic feet. Currently, the entire world is gravitating away from crude oil to gas. Even if they had no crude oil, the SE will comfortably survive only on their natural gas. It's amusing how ignorant you folks are |

sulaak:We are talking about technological advancement and development and you are here writing about election, that is the main reason over uneducated populations is killing Nigeria because you people just born like guinea pigs without any training or whatsoever just so you can win election. If really regional government will benefit the sw more why are Yorubas so afraid of it?. |

How can a state containing millions of people earning income be described as not viable. By what measure?. They could have been sovereign states on their own |

ColonelMichael: Mr Analyzer thanks for your opinion. What has your governor do with what you can call peanuts given to your state now, how has he been able to utilize the allocation. Who are the people that that are in charge of governance in your state, who will still be the one in charge if restructuring take place? With the little Imo received, what was the priority of Okorocha including your present governor? Untill we the populace or the led restructure our mindset and ensure the baits of these dealers called leaders are rejected, restructuring will give them more opportunities to drain our blood |

Kobojunkie:The bolded above is a definition used to deceive the gullible (sorry i mean no offence). Even the West promulgating democracy don't practice it as it is done here because they know the limitations of such a system. It can be hijacked by one person or a group of powerful persons which we are already witnessing. We must change our governance and political structure to something that works for us. We can't keep practicing the current doomed structure. Nigerians are great people just like other humans in other parts of the world. The whites whom you worship (sorry I mean no offence) have done far worse things than we have. But they came to their senses to create a workable governance and political structure for themselves. I pray a time comes when we too will come to our senses to replicate same. |

Re: "Most States are not viable": Agbakoba seeks return to regional Government by Kobojunkie: 2:02pm On Jul 15 |
REALretep:1. So, the Kenyan children putting to practice that same definition today are gullible? Wow... you Nigerians are a special breed. 2. In the last 63 years alone, Nigerians have doomed the Regional, Military, and now Democratic structures. Yes, the people blamed the system each time and never fought to keep any before now. So tell us, what special structure will cause you and others who think as you do to want to wake the fk up and actually engage your own government? 3. Exactly! You do nothing to change things but pray that some magical occurrence will come and make it all good for you. It is beyond me how many of you think. 1 Like |

Kobojunkie:Stop ranting like a child. Your knowledge of Nigeria under the regional system of government is obviously limited. The regional system wasn't doomed as practiced then. Despite the corruption and looting of the public treasury then, the system was productive with the regions competing in productivity. |
Re: "Most States are not viable": Agbakoba seeks return to regional Government by Kobojunkie: 12:04am On Jul 16 |
REALretep:LOL... all you revisionists wey full Nigeria. If not for oyinbo's wey record the events that took place back during the days in question, na so so false claim after false claim una ready to dey feed anyone wey give una ear. After a brief honeymoon period, Nigeria’s long-standing regional stresses, caused by ethnic competitiveness, educational inequality, and economic imbalance, again came to the fore in the controversial census of 1962–63. In an attempt to stave off ethnic conflict, the Mid-West region was created in August 1963 by dividing the Western region. If it was going so very well, why did Aguiyi-Ironsi try to bring about its end before he was later assasinated? |

Re: "Most States are not viable": Agbakoba seeks return to regional Government by Kobojunkie: 2:49am On Jul 16 |
MIKOLOWISKA:Governors do not control the budget at all. Their hijacking of the LG accounts and their control of affairs at the LG levels in fact run against the Consitution. The reason they continue to get away with it has to do with general ignorance of the details of the law by their constituency. |
