moral lesson
Think 💬 outside the box
Try to be exceptional in your niche
Try doing something that isn't yet saturated or that many people aren't into

That time too, One Ibo corper will go to the interior Hausa village buy beans in bulk store them and ship to the east, then so his lorry doesnt travel empty he will buy palm oil from the East to sell in the North

I admit that kind of hustle needs significant initial capital

I don't know. I think that's more of a UK thing.

Even in the US. One of my guys was a support worker in the US for a while even though he studied Pol Sci.

I was thinking he wants to apply as a healthcare worker from Nigeria to approach the embassy?

If he is already in the US, He can go to any of the CNA (certified Nursing assistant) schools, Then can decide to do his LVN/LPN

FavoredbyGOD:

Thank you sir

Are you already in the US or still in Nigeria and hoping to get a visa through the healthcare support worker route?

If I had a penny for every time I've been asked advice by someone who is a proponent of the 'raw or nothing' school of thought, I'd have been on Shark Tank or Dragon's Den.

UAE no rate Nigerians at all!
They are now asking Nigerians to have a minimum of 16 million in the bank before applying for their visa🙆🏾

We did this to ourselves. Regulate yourself or be regulated. It is the same reason why it is harder and harder for us to get visas to western nations. Because we think we are smart. There is a difference between being smart and being wise. Smart enough to beat the system but not wise enough to understand the consequences

.....bruh! If criminals are reportedly arrested for armed robbery and other vices in their dailies, Gulf News and Khaleej times, don't bother to check cos definitely all would either be Nigerians or 80% Nigerians.

If Oloshos are reportedly mopped up, 70% would be Nigerians. If Scammers get nabbed, 90% would be Nigerians. Highest number of illegal Immigrants, we are competing with Bangalees. Pakistanis and Sri Lankans. LOL!

I doubt it. When I don dey Lagos. My own na to prep. They didn't even have computers to use or internet to contact school. Many in the village never saw a computer. I was their only contact to the school. I guess the buzz died after I left, they tried to get some batch B corpers to help them but those ones didnt know much about internet and getting free brochures from UK uni back then like 90% of corpers didn't know how to.

On the back of that, A corper bought a desktop computer to teach them corel draw and some graphic designs and he also made a killing cos the LG engaged him to train their staff

I love CorelDraw.

I was going through twitter and saw this tweet,
https://x.com/SasDantata/status/1812725165538631939

Not like I agree with the content but a part that struck me was this
Even if you invest the N200 million in risk-free 10-yr FGN bonds, you can expect about 20% annual yield, which equates to N40 million annually. If you have a business of your own, you could potentially generate 30%, or even more from the N200m

Blueraydick and those familiar with Nigerian financial instruments pls verify if this is true

The other part of the post is left to debate

That 20% for NGN bonds, isn't it dependent on you holding the bond until maturity, that's for 10 years?

Even at simple interest, 20% each year sounds crazy.

Bros if I put 200m and I get 40m a year. That means in 5yrs I have all my capital back and anything else na profit

He no pure at all. You'd never tell from the wit in his rhymes. He acted as a spotter for a hitman that his brother (Big Lee) hired to kill Gerard Woodley. A week later Woodley gunned him down on his doorstep, pumping numerous bullets in his face deliberately so he won't have an open casket

He also sent a Spanish dude to rob Mase at gunpoint, the guy almost killed Mase
I heard from multiple cats that dude was a really grimy nigga and the way he moved it was almost given he would die.

Ironically he was never the one that did dirt on his own but he was always trying to set niggas up.

Camron basically said this exact same thing that Big L tried to kill Woodley just the week before

The Mase story was funny. Mase said it was Fat Joe and his crew that Big L tried to send at first and then he tried it again

But ironically the guy who killed Big L was also shot dead 17 years later

That math only works with a stable FX rate and low inflation.

Even at that I doubt there is any business you do in Nigeria that is not hit by FX and inflation and rarely does anyone guarantee you 20% returns profit and this you don't even have to do anything. It doesn't take over your life, you can be going to work, running your other business or even be traveling

Money managers in Nigeria can just be dumping their assets into this and getting 20%. I am sure they wont pay anyone 20%
