Good day, please i need advise. I have admission to College for post graduate course. As my wife cant get SOWP, can i apply for visiting visa for her alongside my application? and also visiting visa for my child.
Also I have 45k CAD approxiamtely in my bank acct. and 55k CAD in company acct.
Opening balance is 35m, closing balance 25m with some high deposit and high withdrawal like 4m deposit, 5m withdrawal.
Do I need to explain all over 1m deposit?

please I need help and urgent advise

You can apply for VV for your spouse and the age of the child will determine whether you apply for VV or SP for him/her. 4 years and above will be SP.

You did not specify in which account you have the lump sum deposits, ALL lump sum should be explained with documents ie talk about the reason for that particular transaction, it will be best to have a table to explain of the lump sums.

Since you are using a company account as part of your POF, you will explain the ownership structure that ties you to the company with docs as well as how the company makes money.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by JMG12: 5:38pm On Jul 16
Yes, you can apply for VV for your wife while the kids depend on their age, infant VV above infancy is SP.
You will need to explain the lump sum in the account, also if you are using your company acct then you will have to attach TCC with proof of ownership.

Your international passport (or copy of data page)
Appointment letter
Medical request letter (if you have)

That's all.

Can one do medical after submission of application and without medical request letter?

Thanks for your response in advance.

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by flamessy(m): 8:34pm On Jul 16
Nice piece I really learned from this.
bullstriker:
Your finances must have been clearly insufficient, or there were unexplainable lump sums, for the VO to refuse your application based on IRPR 220(a) and (b). A detailed review of the account’s cash flow could reveal the VO's concerns. For instance, a VO can refuse an application for insufficient funds, even if the balance is enough to cover the cost of education for 1yr if;
1. there is a large deposit with no reasonable explanation, and the account's history is inconsistent with such a deposit.
2. The account was opened recently
3. It is a corporate account with less than 1y statement and poor cash flow.
4. Unconvincing source of the income
This list is not exhaustive. Review the bank statement for the aforementioned and see how you can address them.

N50M is sufficient unless your tuition fee is exceptionally high.

MarksmanD:
Please, I did upfront medicals a week before I submitted my application and I was told it'll be sent to ircc in 10 working days. Yesterday was the 10th day and I just checked the portal, but there's no status update on my medical on it. Please how should I go about this?

Pls house I need clarification on this matter, can I be sponsored by someone not related to me by blood?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by JMG12: 9:26pm On Jul 16
Yes, if there is a significant relationship such as a close friendship or employment, you must convince the VO of the relationship and reason for sponsorship.

If the student is going for Masters or PhD and some professional courses, they can come with their families, and their spouses can work. On the other hand, if the student is not doing the aforementioned courses, then their spouses can only visit and not work.

Can I get a link to a list of schools that is qualified to apply for PR after studying?

Please I want a clarification about this, I am a student of Conestega college to resume by September 3rd and I have been given Visa. But since college student can’t bring their spouse. I am thinking of changing my school to a university which will allow me bring my spouse.
But the issue is, I have already paid first semester tuition fee at Conestoga which is about 10k cad.
Now, my question is if I eventually get an admision with a university. Will Conestoga refund my money?
And secondly, Do I need to inform IRCC of the change of school even after entering Canada?
Thanks
Yes, if you get admission in another university, your fees will be transferred to the new school.

Yes, you have to inform IRCC of your school change by submitting a new study permit.
However, you will be able to begin your lectures while you await a decision from IRCC. This is just a formality so they can be sure of their quota allocation (mainly for those who might move to another province)

Please house, I would live a clarification on an issue.
My sister is acting as my sponsor, but couldn't pay my fees directly from her bank because of poor bank network for international payments, so she transferred the money to my account as my bank network was seamless.
My question is this, is it proper?
And also, the money was transferred in batches since the online transfer has limit of transaction for a day, so she transferred it in bits in 3 different days.
If this is of no concern, do I need to explain this large sum in my account when writing my SOP?

Please I would like a reply as I want to apply for my visa tomorrow.

Thanks

Hey guys, did my biometrics 9th of July. Keep trying to create an account with the tracker but it seems my information has not been inputted into their system yet. How long does the overall process typically take from submission of biometrics to granting of study permit?

Today makes it a week and a day. Thanks, house.

Billed to start school September 3, 2024.

You don't need to worry just explain the lump sum.

Hello house please I just got my Gcms notes today and I’m confused, the offer quoted my first year tution to be 44,302 instead of 21,096. I don’t know if that was because while filling my application I wrote 44,302 as total tuition for both years. Was I supposed to only include tuition for first year while doing the application? That’s a picture of the tution breakdown I from my school and the gcms note.

I stand to be corrected but I think you should had stated the first year tuition.

Goto the last 2-3pages of that PDF, that's where you will see exact reasons you were denied.

You are supposed to input on first year tuition then room and board which is living expenses.
Show first year and explain how you will pay second year.
I think they even use robot to treat application these days

I have considered the following factors in my decision.
The applicant's assets and rinancia situation are insufticient to support the stated purpose of travel for the applicant land an accompanving ramilv members…it appicable.
Abolicant's father is to financiallv sponsor
Initial balance shows a low sum that has increased to a large closing balance. Multiple lump sums deposited over a short period noted. Limited evidence pertaining to the source of these funds. The significant change in bank balance lends to the point that the bank account was inflated for the visa application in order to meet financial establishment and sustainability for the first. and subsequent vears or studies
have concerns the runas are for demonstration purposes only and are not reflective of the sponsors legitimate tinancial resources. in the absence of satistactory documentation showing the source of these runds. am not satistied the applicant has sutticient runds for the intended purpose.
There is no tuition payment on file. Tuition payment for the 1st year is $44,302 CAD. Additional funds are required for living expenses

Based on the documentation on file, and the limited information demonstrating the availability of the funds. I have concerns that third party funds would be sufficient and available for the proposed studies. Therefore, I am not satisfied that applicant has sufficient and available financial resources to pay the tuition fees for the program of studies that they intend to pursue and to pay for living
exbenses while in Canada.
For the reasons above, I have refused this application under R216(1)(b)
