I have questions on supervisa, grans parents got request for medical was given in july 4th ,to be done within 30days, but unfortunately , passport of the both grand parents who are principal applicants was discovered has expired in june 2024. but the grand kids passports are not expired. process for passport renewal on going ---

here are my questions

1. Is it appropriate to use expired passport for IOM medical?

2. the 30 days given to do the medical, does it cover weekends or only weekdays?

3. If expired passport cant be used for IOM medicals ,what can be done to meet up?

4. is police character certificate required for supervisa?

5. How long does it take for passport to be requested after medicals has been done?

Please, transmit ooh. I made that same mistake in March, i forgot to transmit/sign. My application was still in pending when they did the transport draw. That was how i missed it.
Good evening! Please what exactly do you mean by transmit? I'm yet to create a profile. Thank you for your response.

Goodevening to u too,

When u create an express entry profile, and later on u decide to make some adjustments, for example maybe you took a second IELTS test and decide to update ur scores by imputing ur new scores obtained,
after changing the scores, there will be two options outlined to choose from. One will be to save & exit while the other will be to continue, after which you need to impute your name as signature and submit.

The essence of this, is more like a declaration that you are the one making changes to ur profile. So my mistake then was that i saved and exited instead of to sign and submit. So when u save and exit ur application will be in PENDING instead of SUBMITTED. So even if they do draw and u qualify u won't be picked cos of ur pending profile.

Hi guys
To the seniors who made it via Manitoba PNP i have been on this thread since last year and no one as given me any answers.

I got my LAA from Manitoba in December 2023 and i have done everything asked by February 2024. So my question goes

1. How long does it take for me to get a response? It says 6 months on their website.

2. If they are to make a contact is it to my relative or me ( if i am contacted is it by calls or email)

Thanks very much as i await your urgent response
The last EOI draw for SWO with family connection to MB was december 2023...
Manitoba is having huge backlogs of application of 6,505..and all occupation draws and occupation specific draws are not regular because of shortage of allocations..
They are prioritizing applications..and also those whose work permit are
expiring within 45 days in canada...
Some SWO are processed within 6 months and some 9 to 12 months..
As far as I know they will contact your Manitoba supporter...

Here is someone timeline below for SWO with close relative in MB.

Pharmacist is not part of the healthcare category. The aim is to have your bachelor of pharmacy degree evaluated as a professional degree which gets you same points as a masters degree holder. Then, claim experience as a pharmacy assistant which is part of the occupation in healthcare category.
Good evening! Please is it possible to get bachelor of Engineering degree or Surveying degree evaluated as a professional degree? Especially a licensed Surveyor, If yes how can one go about it?

Thank you for this information. Regarding this can you help review my job duties please?
stevolinkon40:

Damn, that's a very big mistake.
However since you cannot change NOC after ITA, if you are able to liase with your HR, I think the only thing closest to your job on NOC 33109 is "Rehabilitation aids" if you work in mental health hospital or support work, the popular health care Assistant in care homes won't fit into this category unfortunately.

Do I need a licence to a lab assistant in Ontario?
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by MayorOfEdmonton: 3:13pm On Jul 18
A quick google search will answer your question. I did one just now and found most MLA jobs require a certification from OSMT or CSMLS.
Your next plan would be to find out how to get those certificates and the potential cost.

No. I have a bachelor's degree in quantity surveying and it was evaluated as the Canadian equivalent of a 4-year bachelor's degree.

Are you already in the pool?
What’s your CRS?
If your work was within past 3 years and it aligns with NOC 82030, your current WES should suffice for category based ITA. You’ll need a reference letter that details most of the Farm supervisor duties you performed.
But you have to wait for Agriculture occupations ITA, and my guess is they may do one soon as the last one was February 16th.
All the best.

NiceTheDev:

Please i worked as a farm supervisor for almost 2 years, I under that I'm qualified for the agric stream but confused when i saw that one may require WES specifically for this stream asides from the Normal WES evaluation. Im confused. I have Clb 9 and Wes done for 2 or more degrees

Good morning y’all.

Please I was trying to create an express entry profile after I got my IELTS and Wes done. The issue I had was that, after I transmitted my details, it told me I’m not eligible to be in the pool.

But the thing is that, the system is not calculations my total CRS score, it just wrote overall score to be 0. Is this a glitch or what?

My IELTS is LRWS- 8,7.5,7,6

Note I created the first one, I got same thing till I tried with the second profile and I still got same thing

There are several factors that could make your profile ineligible. First, if you select Quebec, you definitely will get ineligible profile. Check that you get 67/100 in the eligibility assessment. Check the "hours of work"... read page one of this thread to understand better

To qualify for express entry, you dont.

You might need when you get to canada.
