There is an ongoing protest inside the premier University. It was gathered that the management of the institution has increased tuition fee twice in two sessions since Tinubu came into steering the affairs of the nation. All efforts to meet with any member of the management proved abortive as all doors to the Vice Chancellery Building were under key and lock. Students were audibly heard chanting various protest songs. Entrance to the main gate was blocked by the students, who carried placards with different messages. The ripple effects of BOLA AHMED TINUBU harsh administration is gradually affecting everyone. The MGT of the school made several efforts to cope with the economic realities on ground most especially the daily increase in the price of everything, yet; they has no option other than to transfer the tax burden to the students. The students after making this noise will definitely transmit the burden to their parents/guardians. In thesame vain, the parents/guardians will transfer the burden to the society by inflating the price of goods and services while government will be happy taxing all of us through patrol products. The rich getting richer while the poor getting poorer. Life goes on. I left..! 33 Likes |

Almost all the students of third world countries are protesting against one thing or the other these days. From students in Bangladesh protesting against job quotas for the rich,to students in Kenya protesting against tax hikes, to students in Nigeria protesting against Electricity ration and tuition hike. I wonder why I wasn't born an European, touring around cities like Ibiza, Majorca, Tenerife, the Bahamas,Granada, with very little to worry about. E con be like say God deliberately push poverty and misery to Africa. Na ebimpami everywhere 7 Likes 1 Share |

It's not yet time, they're still warming up. By the time it hits those suffering and smiling supporters of Tinubu, protest proper will start. Recently,I was surprised, one woman who's the NLC leader in Lagos, who wore labour union cap and t-shirt, staging solidarity support for tinubu last year, when I saw her openly protesting against Tinubu's refusal to welcome their demands, I was like, has the 10k they shared last year finished already? You dumped the party which you and your fellows formed in order to champion a course for the betterment of your children who are in the universities and the Nigerian workers at large, for 5 Kongo of rice with 10k, no be stupidity be that? Protest is yet to start. You're still seeing gari drink. 14 Likes 1 Share |

But why are all the rambling and chaos in Nigeria federal government universities only in the south. It is a public knowledge that students of the federal schools in the southern part pay more than their counterparts in the northern side. Why the discrepancy when they are all funded by the same federal government. You will hardly hear of any protest of students in far north about all these incessant fees that are obtainable in the south 1 Like 1 Share |
