Whoscored attributes numbers to "assists" and goals. Saka got an assist for Jude's goal yet the deflection is the only reason the ball got to Jude. Saka will have an added value to his rating even if he was poor in that particular game. Jude needed that clutch goal against Slovakia to be MOTM and have the high rating he did.
