I sold out of anger as it was not moving. No regrets sha

That's usually the attitude of CUTIX, it's a slow and steady stock... Good for really long-term wealth creation... I bought years back... By the time they pay this current bonus my total holdings would have increased to thrice aside steady dividends

Some individuals are known for promoting their own interests at any cost, with the sole intention of unloading their perceived value trapped stocks on unsuspecting investors who fail to do their due diligence. This unethical practice has been ongoing for years. These individuals often disguise their true intentions by including a disclaimer that reads 'not investment advice' while concealing the number of shares they hold in their portfolios.
It would be a welcome idea if Mr OGG can disclose his holding in OANDO before dumping it on self investors.
Yes,it's a free World, noone has given a testimony to the stocks pick by OGG in this forum.

I am not sure you should have made this Oando post a direct hit on OneGentleGuy. Some news platforms reported it as well so what should we say about them.

If you don't want to buy the market a person has decided to sell to the public, just keep it moving on the platform and ensure decorum is maintained.

Many who criticise OneGentleGuy seriously or jokinly still go back to engage him later and they will not blow it off the top of the roof.

Kindly check out his Veritas Kapital PLC and Chams PLC and Presco PLC when they were worth cherry picks several few years ago are some of the ones with mega growth.

These cherry picks were offered to members of this platform for free just like cherries that dropped on the floor.

The game is still on grin

The court had stated that the adjournment was to allow the company to produce a report of compliance with the Court’s order dated June 7, 2022, which requires it to submit its Scheme of Arrangement document to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the NGX within 30 days, along with other instructions.
https://nairametrics.com/2024/07/18/court-says-oando-minority-shareholders-cannot-be-forced-to-sell-their-shares/

This means that the Court was always adjourning because Oando still delayed and failed to produce a report of compliance with the order to submit its Scheme of Arrangement document to SEC and NGX for the delisting of the shares!

It seems the case was delayed and frustrated by Oando itself!

What's important now is what's going on on the floor of the NGX. Let's see how far the rally goes.

Nahco's dividend increase might not be substantial for FY24. At the last AGM, the chairman said the company was planning more expansion drive to increase value they are able to deliver long term to shareholders and that definitely has to come from cash flows.

No doubt they have done well over the last 2yrs in terms of dividend payout and overall performance. From 0.40k in 2021 to 1.40 or so in 2022, they paid 2.50 thereabout for last uear. Make nobody expect over 4 naira as dividend Sha if the chairman's statement is anything to go by.

Pure junk of a drunken street post. Some people around have become "yeye people" because delisting risk has somewhat dissipated.
How does caveating on the risk of a company's delisting constitute an attack on some person's destiny, or even an attack on the juiciness of the company?

What type of clown are you.If you had followed the thread. You won't post this rubbish. You would have seen that the post has nothing to do with oando delisting or what ever juice you have in your mind. You will have see it has to do with an attack on an individual because he posted a news which they believe was not genuine and went further trying to rubbish his person.

Might not be entirely out of the available options. One shareholder had asked if we should expect same % increase in dividend increase in the future, that was the chairman's response.

If they can pay 3 or 3.2 as final dividend, won't be bad

Street Baba, you have said the truth, my brother. They want to use their modus operandi to get those Ogas who share information on this platform to be annoyed so that such Ogas will stop sharing the information they have access to.

What they don't realise is that the Ogas they attack know their modus operandi and will just ignore them or use their insults as body cream to continue to make their skin shine. 😁

They are like people who bring up complaints against the government for arresting persons who cross the highways where pedestrian bridges have been built by the government or the design of such bridges. 🙄

I humbly disagree with your assertion. You do not have a monopoly on stock picks. I have been consistently advocating for months that self investors should consider investing in the Tony Elumelu ecosystem. What I see in his ecosystem is prosperity for long-term(Tortoise investors). I have appraised the survival tendency of the Tony Elumelu listed companies and their potential to generate income through service offerings within the system. My write-up was motivated by publicly available information and a good understanding of the system, not privileged information. It was posted for the benefit of forum members. I even predicted that Tony Elumelu listed companies would outperform the index from October 2024, regardless of the uncertainty and direction of the Nigerian economy. My investment in UCAP dates back to 2017/18, and I would have 1,020,000 units post-bonus issue, with a 345% return YTD. I wonder where you got the idea that some elements are ungrateful for your selfless and financially motivated stock picks for members. On the other hand, you should be grateful to Nairaland for providing an enabling platform to source your fee-paying clients .
Many forum members, including myself, have provided up-to-date valuable information without asking for subscription services. Ugodre of Nairametrics, a former active participant on this forum, never diverted members to his subscribed service. Pa Emma Agbalowomeri, Stockbull, Bullbearmarket, Dr. Awo, YMcy56, Locotrader, Streetinvestor, Megawealth, and many other contributors have shared information selflessly on this faceless forum. When your stock picks fail, you often blame it on time, citing 'no time frame' or 'no time limits,' which essentially amounts to gambling.
We are well aware that every listed company has inherent potential. However, realising this potential is influenced by various factors, including time, management expertise, effective corruption management, investor sentiment, and macroeconomic indicators.
Lastly, you cannot silence me here just as you did with Chibuking.

onegentleguy:

I honestly felt there's absolutely NO need to respond to those post.

It's funny that after all these years, someone would still think that I will put out an information to deceive others.
....that's totally disrespectful. This is the height of it!

This is part of the reason am usually reluctant to post classified information here.
I honestly knew about UCAP's 2 for 1 bonus and 90k div days earlier but decided against putting it out here. Instead, I informed some close pals and few of my subscribers.
It's also why I've had to cut down on the analysis I put out here. There was a time I used to analyze virtually every company financial statement to help guide others, but still receive snide remarks and destructive criticisms from persons who for some inexplicable reason, turned out to be humans.

I may not be a rich guy, but I am rich at keeping integrity. ...I have a reputation to protect and I don't take that for granted.

Some very good and honest members have had to leave this platform (some even deleted their A/c) because of these ungrateful and often self-centered elements.

Well for me, if and when I decide to do things or offer help, I do it first for the sake of Devine who's the giver of every good gift and sometimes because I just wish to "pay it forward"... NOT for man.
Some humans are disgusting to say the least!

But frankly, these things don't bother me. wink cheesy cool
My GOAL is to continue to grow in the financial markets and also help as many as possible to do the same.

It is well
