Lovewins see how Caitlin's teammates caused all these turnovers. Seems u were right afterwards

https://x.com/OGTreauxlGawd/status/1811432646376849861

I didn't even need to click this to know the content cause I've seen the video already. If was from the last 3 games prior to yesterday. Again no one has argued she isn't responsible for turnovers, you can literally go through our exchanges and I acknowledged that. But her teammates are also responsible and there are video proofs of that some of which I have posted. Their chemistry however has also gotten a lot better it's why she's averaging 11 assist per game the last 6 games and the turnovers have drastically reduced from the 6-10 earlier in the season to now 4-5. Still a lot of work to do but it's definitely getting better.

There's someone who did a deeper analysis on all of her turnovers and noted the percentages her teammates are responsible for. I won't bother bothering you with it cause like I said it doesn't change the fact that it's something she has to work on.

Nice one. I can't argue with u much. I'm not into all that how many was her teammates fault stuff because then we would have to see all the times that her teammates saved her from getting a turnover. At the end we both agree she has to work on it so that's fine.

PS: Did u see my girl shooting that thang grin we might start calling her Angel Caitlin Reese cheesy

You mean her 3 point shooting? Was very surprised really. Shows she's working on her game. Angel won the draft in my opinion. She got just the right fit in team and coach for herself.

Her all around shooting. She was knocking them down from everywhere. She took 4 jumpers this last game and knocked 2 down. People forget she would still have been a guard or small forward if not for Mulkey and LSU. Angel was the 2nd best highschooler in the country as a guard.

Yea a perfect fit basketball wise but I still feel the best fit all around was LA. That would have taken the WNBA to a new level.

Lol. It's like you don't know Curt Miller? I've been a Sparks supporter until this season because of Nneka so I know what my eyes saw last season. She wouldn't even be half the player she is right now. T.Spoon is just the coach for her. There's is no other team in the WNBA where she is allowed to play like she is right now.

On her shots, she still has a lot to work on. Yes she's making some mid range but not there yet. I was more surprised and impressed by the 3 ball.

U wan start again bah? cheesy Rickea Jackson and Cam'ron Brink (before injury) are doing just fine. Angel Reese has never walked in a program without improving them drastically.

The only difference is that she would be doing what she is doing now under a brighter light. It would look different obviously cause she would have different coaches and teammates but the result will absolutely be the same.

Of course she is not there with her shot yet but like I told u before, this is something she will add to her game. People forget she was a guard coming out of high school and at most a 3 when she played at Maryland. She changed her game for LSU so of course it will take her sometime to get back to it but that is definitely coming.

You probably need to go check when Rickea started playing and how Cameron was offensively before her injury. Also this isn't just about playtime but playing style. She won't get that in LA just like she wouldn't have in Washington. Chicago is Just the best fit for her. No need arguing, I know what I'm talking about.

I've been watching the Sparks all season. Not like I do the sky but enough to know what's going on. Rikea's playing time was increasing even before Brink got hurt. Playing style is just a wild point to make because she would have been perfect with Brink. She would face way less double teams in the paint because Brink is a legitimate treat on the outside. For me that duo would be even better than the one we are seeing in Chicago.

What team are you referring to? If you mean the Olympics, I haven't seen any news to that effect.

But yes, she was arguably Sky's best player last game.

I don't think this is still true. I noticed this story was published before the roster was released. There hasn't been anything to suggest this is still true since then. I also noticed the story didn't include a direct quote from Michaela herself. Let's see if she joins the team in a few days but it doesn't seem likely.

Abi Olajuwon has joined the Dtigress coaching staff for the 2024 Olympics. Abisola Olajuwon is an assistant coach with a WNBA team. Good move by the NBBF. I hope her dad, Hakeem Olajuwon, will pop into the Dtigress camp to encourage our ladies. Cheers.

Our former coach, Otis Hughley Jnr, has been appointed as the Coach of Senegal's women basketball squad. You can see why I was pushing for a better coach to be appointed for Dtigresses after the Olympics. Senegal under Otis Hughley will challenge Nigeria at the next women's Afrobasket in 2025 and also vie with Nigeria for a world cup slot going forward. Hmn.

This is great, but still think we have a personnel problem. Do you know why the Michaela Onyenwere purported invitation fell through? Someone like her would have added a lot more to the team. Not inviting her is a big miss in my opinion.

Coach Rena Wakama and Abi Olajuwon are sufficient as Coaches for the Paris Olympic games. We have two guys helping out as assistant coaches too. I have a feeling that Dtigress will secure a shock victory against one of the teams in our group and put up a great performance against the other nations. And who knows? Nigeria might qualify from our group and progress to the next round. I believe we have some good players in the camp . Onyenwere is a future player for Dtigress. NBBF can get across to her after the Olympics.

Whatever happens at the Olympics, we need to get a great Coach for the Dtigress. Otis Hughley was not outstanding in his 2 years + he spent coaching a university team in the USA. Probably why he is taking the Senegal head coach position. There are some coaches in C or D leagues in the USA who can develop a program for Dtigresses and take them further than Otis did. Otis did a great job on the Dtigress though.

By personnel I wasn't refering to the coaching staff at all but the players.

I do not fancy out chances even though I hope we do qualify. Our best chance is against Canada, hopefully we secure a win against them. Not sure we have a chance against France and Japan. France prevented their players from participating in the WNBA because of the Olympics. They've been in camp for months training. Japan is super good, but miracles do happen.

This again gives credence to my earlier statement. There's so much a coach can do with a bad roster, and a great roster can make a bad coach look good. Otis didn't necessarily sign for a great colleague program with great recruits. Rene could come in weeks before a major tournament to win because at the Afrobasket level, compared to others we have great talents.

....well well, now we know, sad much, N.B.B.F fumbled again and again and again...no Kiki, no Micheala.....Already looking like a repeat of last olympics...0 in 3, as we would be going to the olympics with a much weaker squad than we had in 2021, ....to compete at this level, you have to come with the best you have, i honestly believe, we can do better than what we are doing at the moment. It seems the people in NBBF just see these games as childs play, hence their usual lackadaisical approach to things.

Someone not going for a tournament doesn't mean anything got fumbled. People make decisions/demands. Being invited doesn't mean you will accept. I (on paper) don't see anything that implies the last team that wasn't competitive in the 3 Olympic games is better than this one. Chidera Odom that quit the team last year (still active in basketball) will be missed.

Michaela hasn't played a minute over the past 5 games approximately for Chicago Sky. She is out of favor and has little offensive efficiency; though very energetic on the floor.

.......If you do not see that the last olympics squad is stronger that what we have, then you do not follow the team or there is more at play, hence you trying to down play the former squad, a team that took France down a year after last olympics, note, we were in the worst possible group for the olympics, go back and check our group, and check where the teams in our group finished, 1st,2nd and 3rd respectively. I leave you to go do your own finding. As regards Micheala not having a single minute in the last 5 games, means only one thing you do not know what you are talking about plain and simple... there re no 2 ways about it, you know not what you talk about...btw i watch the chicago sky games, i follow the team, go and do your own research and come back to your post,Also, there are high chances Micheala would be moved to starting position after the break, and there is a reason for that.... as regards Chidom, yes she will be missed, the funny thing is Chidom was not even the focal point of the previous squad.....Even the blind knows that this squad is weaker. "MIcheala out of favour and have little offensive efficiency".... grin grin grin grin grin grin...
