The presidency and APC is allergic to criticism.

Unlike when Jonathan, Yar'Ádua and Obasanjo were president.
What a bunch of hypocritical nincompoops calling themselves progreThieves.

Even after the A-looter Propaganda Conmen, APC were given the chance to implement their promised change, they criticised and blamed PDP for their own failure to perform.

catchfun:
Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed, has declared that Nigerians were now paying for the sins of the past government.

He said the Jonathan government owed oil marketers ‎huge debts in oil subsidy payments, such that they have stopped importing the product in the last couple of months, hence the biting scarcity.

Asked by State House correspondents to explain the scarcity to the nation, Lai said: “What I will be telling Nigerians is that what we met on ground is such that we are paying for the sins of the last administration”.

“I am being very serious. You remember that about two weeks ago, we had to go to the National Assembly for a supplementary budget of N674 billion. Of that figure, N522billion was for arrears of fuel subsidy which was incurred as far back as August last year”.

“One of the reasons for the fuel scarcity was the inability of the last government to make adequate provision for fuel subsidy”.

“We do face some other logistic problems but majorly, we are paying for the sins of the last administration”.

Asked what the solution the government was now proffering, the Minister said:“The first thing we have done now is to make sure that unlike before when the marketers used to import the major percentage of the fuel, NNPC has been involved in importation”.

“This is because some of the marketers had stopped importing for a couple of months. If you see any fuel anywhere today, it is imported by the NNPC”.

“We also inherited the vandalisation of the pipelines which has made it impossible for us to even transport the fuel. In tanks today we have 14 days reserve and off tank we have 10 days reserve”.

“The issue is not non-availability of the product; it is the distribution because of pipelines that have been vandalised and the gridlock in Lagos”.

“It takes about five days for anybody to take fuel with tanker in Lagos. As at two days ago this matter has been resolved. The Mosinmi pipeline has been secured and it has led to the improvement in the distribution.‎”

One of the demands of citizens is that the Senate has to be scrapped. It is useless!

Only the house of representatives will be spared and they must be on civil service salary structure

What of your state and local governments legislators? Should they be on civil service salary structure also?
Did your own representative agree to this proposal

A chief whip has the job of whipping uhis party legislators into line
His job is to enforce discipline and I ensure his party's legislators vote to support the party

He cannot speak against the party
It is dishonourable for Ndume to do so and expect to stay in office
He should have resigned

Did chief whip ever speak against Buhari

These guys must think we are stupid

Numerous is fre to criticise but no5 as chief whip

Also what happens with Whip is an APC affair
It is no concern of Atiku
Only APC senators can vote for him
It is not the Senate that removed him but APC senators

How can a Babalawo lead mass in a Catholic Church

That position is the face of APC in the senate

When Lawan as a senate president was doing all the biddings of Buhari, such that he was nick-named "rubber stamp", Ndume didn't make noise like this, until it became the turn of a Southern President and Senate President.

I support anything to cut down these Northern politicians to size, who feel the country belongs to them only and can try to bully Southern representatives.

Your state and local governments are the ones to make Nigeria work INTERNALLY more than the senators, representatives and president in far away Abuja federal government.
Know this and know peace instead of being arrogant in your ignorance.

Where does the bulk of the power reside? Where does the bulk of the resources reside? The INEC that conducts fraudulent elections that allows criminals to become governor in my state is not a fg agency whose chairman is appointed by the president?

The corrupt judiciary that ensures criminal politicians go scot free is not an arm of the fg?

The national assembly that makes retrogressive laws is not an arm of the fg?

In as much as we know that the party has the sole right to remove him as the chief whip does that mean that any one or member of the party must be silent when things are going wrong in the Nation? Is that your view on politics ? No na, you have the right to criticize your leader when things aren’t going right ? That is what democracy is about (freedom), what the President ought to do it make adjustments and listen to criticism and bring down the hammer on such a person. If tomorrow Akpabio is affected by such poor governance and he “mistakenly” criticizes the Executive that means he will be impeached na, and some people will say yey!! It’s party issue.

Fact is that such control over the legislature by the executive is bad for our democracy, it is horrible. They are both different arms of government that function independently, non is greater than the other and non should be more powerful than the other, infact categorically looking at it, the Legislature wields more power than the executive, but they have abused this power. I hope we get it right some day.
The chief whip is different he is a Head of APC caucus
To criticise he should resign and become a floor member

It is just like the APC chairman coming out to criticise

In the case of Ndume this was more than criticise it was abusive language

You and party every time, when will national interest count? That is how you guys turn our senators to rubber stamp
Mynd44:
I disagree with Atiku. The position of Senate chief whip is the APC's decision and at any time, the APC can decide who they want as chief whip.

Many do not know that the term Chief Whip simply means Majority Chief Whip. Ndume holds the position on the request of the party and it isn't an elective one.

APC can wake up tomorrow and ask for the Senate leader to be removed, it is their right and choice. So if the party feels the person occupying that position is demarketing the party, they can choose another person.

The tenth senate is like an extention of one of the federal parastatal.
It's an appendages of the executive arm of the government of president BAT.
We're in serious troubles as a nation

47% of the JOINTLY owned federation account is for the 36 states and 774 local governments, leaving 53% for the federal government that has responsibilities for EXTERNAL engagements and presence in the states. The states and local governments also raise IGR that may in total surpass the 53% federation account that is owned by the FGN.

Is the judiciary in your own state less corrupt than the federal judiciary?

Are the laws made by your state and local government lawmakers not retrogressive, assuming you are not totally and completely clueless about these laws?

It is your yeye of ignorance with arrogance to remain in darkness that stinks to high heavens. Get yourself a cure before it is too late.

You are right in a myopic sense. But how do we achieve good governance, if the legislature that serves a watch dog to the executive is being gagged?

It's an internal Party matter. The APC has the right to choose their Parliamentary Caucus Leaders and remove them at will.
