I am reading that the Yoro fee is actually 52m (60m euro) pounds plus another 7m pounds in addons. That is actually steep for an 18yr old CB with very little experience.

It’s a bit steep and it is a gamble. But at the same time, this could be one of the investments that sets us on the right path to the top.

In the past, we penny pinched on several good players (Sneidjer, Aguero, etc) that we obviously needed. See where that landed us.

We might have to overpay a bit for a few decent players in the meantime. As long as we do that with sense, no qualms.

I have taken time to watch clips of Ugarte. One thing I noticed which is at odds with what has been said about him is that his passing is underrated with his tackling catching the eye first. Ugarte is very much in the mould of an old-school but in a team that keeps the ball, he can very much hold his own...

He will be a very fantastic signing...

Normally Casemiro, Eriksen and Mctominay should be moved on. Bring in their replacements to join Bruno, Mainoo, Mount and probably Amrabat.

He's an old school DM for sure but in the wrong era. Nowadays, ball playing and progressive passing DMs seem to be the order of the day the way Ball Playing GKs are now.

We need some measure of control in the midfield and he's not the one to do that. He doesn't have that quality.

I just read that we are trying to snatch Chido Obi from Arsenal for our Under-18s. The boy's goal scoring record last season was ridiculous.

Your opinion might be unpopular but not with me. If an outrageous offer comes in, we should cash in on him and get a younger AMF who is cheaper and also get a CB.

Olmo is an interesting player, dazzles during International tourneys and fades away during the season, he's also made of glass. Top clubs have surprisingly stayed away from him.

I don't really know Reijnders so can't say much about him. Wirtz won't be bad and he'll cost an arm and a leg.

The DoF and his scouting team are doing a good job, let them look for a good replacement for Bruno. Bruno is 30 now i believe, he is my fav but i think we can do without him in any bald fraud setup...
