Print fresh bank statements and get it stamped.
Attached reference letter too from the bank.

That's all

infofta:

1. They don't ask for BTA at port of entry. In case they do show them your bank debit card. SA is a cashless society and Nigerian bank cards works.

3. I booked my ticket through wakanow in 2016 I don't know if they are still reliable. I had no issue

4. Hotel reservation and purpose of visit is what they are concerned about. You can book through booking.com or have someone in SA physically book for you.

Have your reservation printed out and it must be the exact number of days you intend to stay. Ready to answer questions relating to your purpose of visit just in case.

Is the highlighted above confirmed please? I'd suggest he or she hold a dollar card to be on the safe side though. While I was there by naira card had a very low monthly limit.

Hi what if you're visiting different cities like Pretoria and Cape Town. Is it compulsory to have two hotel reservation or is the first city's hotel reservation enough at Port of entry?

Hello guys,
1. Please. Is there anyone who has used a 3rd party website to buy a ticket and it was successful? No cancellation issues and all that?
Because I don’t understand why TAAG keeps increasing their prices daily while Kenya Airways has remained same since last week.
And with TAAG you can’t find dates on their website except you call their office to get ridiculous prices.
2. What’s the easiest way to commute from Johannesburg to Pretoria?
Thanks

Please must the hotel reservation be paid? Or I can book and select to pay at the hotel once I arrive ?

Good morning
Kenya airways rescheduled my flight to a day after. Can I apply for compensation as I have to pay for one more night accomodation in Cape Town
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Zoey1: 7:05am On Jul 15
They will probably hinge it on “Force Majeure” but they should at least provide accomodation. That’s the issue with most African airlines.

Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by hunee: 9:29am On Jul 15
This thing happened to us once on Taag, they gave us accomodation inside Angola(Luanda) served us food morning and evening till we departed. All was good since we were treated nicely

Call Kenya Airways and inquire.
I also remember Air Peace gave us same treatment too during one of my time boarding them via SA route.

Johannesburg to Pretoria - 20hours?
That’s incorrect.
Africankel:
1. You can buy on Travelstart

2. Your best bet is to fly. But if you want to see the country, you can travel with intercape, do note however that travel time is a minimum of 20 hours.

Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by dexydidi(f): 5:36pm On Jul 15
I spent like 20 days. I paid almost a million in flights so wanted to make sure i enjoyed my stay instead of rushing back.

I paid 2600 ram from Joburg to Capetown in flights

Had similar issue with Kenya Airways in March. Flight from Nairobi to Lagos was delayed by 12hours. But they fed us well, while we hanged around the airport. I am quite sure they will treat you fairly well during the delay

Just make sure your reservation is valid in case they call to verify. It's not compulsory you pay in advance.
Make sure they have a phone number. It's better you book directly with the hotel.

Is like the create profile on the dha website is no longer sending confirmation email after creating profile.
Did you experience this now or anyone experiencing this
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Ehnkhayy: 12:52pm On Jul 18
Hi all!

I'm new here.

I applied for SA E-visa and I saw the eye and opened the message but unfortunately, it was a rejection. The reason given is that the duration has elapsed.

I was given an opportunity to appeal for a review within 10 days.

I have written and sent an appeal.

I also reapplied Incase my appeal isn't granted.

(I have a deadline to meet up with, hence I did both.)

What are my chances of getting a positive feedback after my appeal and when should I expect it?

Also, will my reapplication affect my appeal?

I'm really confused and did as advised.

Please help.

Thank you

Ewooo. I thought I saw Cape Town. Lol.

For Pretoria, use Gautrain from CBD, it's less than 1 hour.

Confirmation emails aren't sent anymore but you should keep checking your portal for outcome on your application.

Yes, unfortunately if the "eye" with the outcome does not appear, it is a rejection. Approvals have that eye from the start ...

Thank you. I was denied this period cos my bank statement could not be verified.

Now I want to reapply. What do i do? I keep seeing reference letter. The statement i submitted is the one I printed from my app. It has stamps.

Don't reply if you bank is UBA, fidelity, stanbic, wema bank because they don't recognized their statements of account and the bank has not verified that it is how their statements looks like.
Likes of first bank, Gtb, union bank, are the best for dha evisa application

I get it now.

I have just been informed by 3 people that the site is down and has been for 2 weeks but funny enough, i reapplied last week and my application has moved to the next stage. I cant verify this information as people are now going for maual application at vfs center.
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Ehnkhayy: 3:32pm On Jul 23
Go to your bank and ask for a reference letter. you are to submit it as well. That is what will be used to verify your documents.

If your bank is GTB, then it is fine. Just get a reference letter.
