I don't know, but if you considered Ethiopia to be part of Africa, then Derartu Tulu, an Ethiopian runner, was the first black African woman to win an Olympic gold medal when she won the women's 10,000 m at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics.

Don't you see their achievements. Chioma won only once and you expect her to be above others who won three and four gold medals too. If you talk about kanu, I will understand not others. Okocha was more of entertainment.

You are right, but China is the most successful Asian country in the Olympics, and the fourth most successful in Olympic history overall.

Their achievements speak for them. People no dey remember skills.. Okocha had the opportunity to play for a better club and won trophies but he chose money and mediocrity. If the list continues, Kanu name will be mentioned before his. And this another testament that Messi is greater than CR7. At the end of the day, they look at your achievements to rank them and that is the reason A Yaya Toure will be ranked ahead of the Okochas of this world. Achievements put your name on the sands of time..
