You can show a pension statement just proof that he still earns from the govt.

that’s because he’s retired and he got most of the properties while still in service. What can a retired person show as proof please if you have any idea 🙏🏻.

KINGTELLER:

Even IRCC themselves know they are only acting on our "Japa gullibility" to demand unnecessary source of fund documentation. There is a limit to which a VO can have access to people's privacy. Why is it that all these uneccessary source of fund documentation they ask for is only applicable to Temporary resident visa applicants and not permanent resident visa.

This is one of the reason some applicants falsify and tell huge lies to convince VO, and the country keep admitting liars as residents even their citizens can't bear it any longer

They are Temporary residents they are supposed return to the country of origin..when visa expires, VO needs to make sure they are what they claimed on visa applications..otherwise refusals on tie to country of origin doesn't make any sence!

As for the access to people's privacy..I dey laugh grin..if someone can submit genuine documentation of properties, landed properties, building C of O etc in a visa application....
Then what is source of funds!! That you cannot submit;
You submitted these documents willingly..they asked for source of funds..you enter privacy mode grin

Any applicants from June received any decision yet? Submitted June 5th, no decision yet, school resumes in Sept 4th, is it advisable to send webform at this point?

I think you are mixing things up ...

..if someone can submit genuine documentation of properties, landed properties, building C of O etc in a visa application....
Then what is source of funds!! That you cannot submit;

whoever submits the documents you listed is doing so at their own will to show their asset as home-ties or proof of fund for intended travel purpose as stipulated in the IRCC visa application procedural guideline and policy which is obtained on their website or you request for it via the Access to information privacy ATIP. This is different from a VO poking nosing into the source of income inflow of a sponsor (mind you the sponsor is not the visa applicant and shouldn't be under any privacy scrutiny. Even they (IRCC) will always inform you that you are not oblige or mandated to disclose your personal information under the privacy law act of Canada except if requested, so why are they acting against their own policy, is it because the applicants are from third-world countries?

Nobody dispute that, but VO has always been 99.9% wrong about their "assumption or intent" of making sure these temporary resident visa applicants return home when their visa expires as record as shown a sizeable number never return home.

Good day,
I would appreciate any form of assistance given in this case.

I hold a BSC in human anatomy, with CGPA of 3.6, I would like to apply nursing in one of these low tuition Canadian schools, initially, I was thinking of applying the nursing after degree program at University of Lethbridge but can't find enough information on it from my browsing the internet, like reviews from international students, then I stumbled on a write here that says admissions into 2 year nursing degree in Canada is too competitive for international students and suggested practical nursing.
I would like if one can suggest low tuition Canadian schools that offer practical nursing to me please

Greatest Anatomist!!!
Why not explore the public health field first(masters)
So from there to nursing science.

Keep your 30-40k in your pocket and don't waste it on a corrupt police force, you don't need it for your Canadian visa application. It's not a requirement.

Honestly I’ve been thinking about this too. Applied since June 3rd. Although my biometrics was done on June 10th, it took some time before it was updated on my portal (July 5th), but when it was eventually updated, it still showed June 10th, so I don’t know whether I should start counting from when I did the biometric or when it was updated on the portal. I really hope they respond on time and positively.

But where do people see that one must get the police clearance if not needed ?

I think for immigration purpose one may have to get it.

Is this an evidence that the biometric information has been updated on the portal?

If you want to do it , just apply online :

https://possap.gov.ng/

It will be sent to your mail within 48hrs when you choose diaspora option and you do the thumbprint required of you
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by MarksmanD: 8:07am On Jul 20
Mark Millar was quoted saying it's not required for temporary residents in May. There are people on Nairaland that have gotten their study visa and police clearance isn't part of the documents they submitted. It's better to let IRCC personally request for it from you during your application than to waste your money on it.

To be honest July 5th seems to be when an officer actually opened your file for review. Seems these people are sitting on applications and taking their sweet time and not considering resumption dates 😩

Well Usually the admission is valid for three terms. If we don't make it for Sept 4th semester, we have one more semester in January 2025 to make it.

I think it'll be better to go via MSc in another health related field first, then later you do nursing. I hold a Bsc in human physiology looking to go for medicine later but I'm applying via MSc in another course first. We could connect if you don't mind, as I equally just started my application journey. I followed you.
