Kehfie:The agrovert actually helped with the overall growth of the plant and gave it better immunity to fight against the Okro mosaic virus. I can conclude on this due to other farms around me already ravaged with the virus, so sad ๐ 1 Like |

EagleEyeez:No, kirikuo is an hybrid, my variety is OPV. It terms of yield I will go for OPV as both will produce based on your Agronomic management. Kirikou is too expensive to plant on a large scale now ! My opinion |

Pls my dear okro Farmers, is there brand of okro that matures and produce within 40 days?. I have been seen promotion of a kind of okra called 40 days okra on social media. How truth is this and is it marketable in the South here?. |
Re: Diary Of An Okro Farmer by Mrdellychy: 8:10pm On Jul 21 |
hastral45: They call it Joko so . Literally means sit and fruit. You can ask yourself... how's sitting related to height? |
Re: Diary Of An Okro Farmer by Mrdellychy: 8:18pm On Jul 21 |
hastral45: It's actually 45 days but it's the long slim fruits varieties. It's more of northern choice and some foreigners also crave for it. It's not marketable in the South except during dry season when the short fruits are very scarce. |
