I don't disagree with any of this.

I understand fully that people vote based on different factors and I'm not campaigning or arguing anyone should vote one way or another.

The point was to highlight, as I said, what the core of the MAGA movement thinks about non-white people, and I can confidently say "the core" because these people in that video are all ones that Trump himself had platformed on multiple occasions and continues to associate with. Labour has its issues, yes, but it's incomparable.

No other party has the same level of acceptability of open racism and antagonism of non-white people as in MAGA and Reform, and there have been multiple incidents that showcased that. If any person Labour affiliate said the things Nick F said (as an example), they'd be roundly denounced immediately, but with Trump you'll hear nothing, or at worst some 'both sides' umms and ahhs. This part is my opinion and I'm fine with anyone not agreeing.

Ultimately, I shared because I found it interesting and genuinely very amusing. I actually laughed out loud thinking about the cognitive dissonance many MAGAs must be facing now.

I agree, especially with the bit in bolded about open racism, or what could be construed as racism. Trump and Farage get away with the statements they make because they are frankly giving voice to the silent views of many white people. They are also quite smart in that their personal remarks are usually more inflammatory and leading than racist, e.g. Farage has never openly used slur words on camera, but they have the effect of empowering nationalists and racists who then go on to make blatantly racist comments.

I didn't get this story before my comment. However I'm still surprised at the common resentment (and maybe blind unity) displayed by "neighbors?" against the police. If that family was black (UK citizen or not) I'm sure no other black family would attack the police that way. Eastern Europeans they are?

The family is said to be Roma but the protests of the Roma community were largely peaceful allegedly until it was hijacked by others.

From the videos circulating via telegram I believe they are a mixture of south Asian communities. I observed the police were violently pulling 2 little children out of the property into their vehicle. I believe the police handling of the minors and other underlying community issue must have escalated the whole thing.

Rioters weren’t even worried about covering their faces while setting cars on fire. It must really be a deprived area with people with nothing to lose. They’ll mostly likely get better food and bed in prison than at home.

There was really no call for protest. If you endanger your children, the state ll take them off you, chikena. Why exactly were they protesting?
The parents should pray the baby doesn't die.

NB:Kudos to the councillor of the ward and other saner people who talked down the hotheads and helped put out the fires. It was a good lesson in community spirit . Because the police left them to it and just cordoned off the area.

That part of your post is really interesting but an open secret , Their core policy is to make America/UK white again, but its too late, max 4yrs Trump will be either in prison or home out of public view. Next general election will expose Farage and his party, his chances of doing what Trump is currently doing in America is very slim here

I have to disagree with the bolded.
My opinion is the contrary - Farage/Reform has a very good chance of either becoming a kingmaker in 2029 or even taking control. Reform got more votes than the Lib Dems this time around. Labour has inherited a very poisoned chalice indeed - fixing the UK's deep-rooted problems will take a lot, cost a lot and is likely to make the government pushing through any reforms or fixes look bad (voters are generally fickle and they don't like bad news, however necessary it is) - and one or more low-tax, low-regulation snake oil parties will likely take advantage of this.

Yet despite her Indian heritage, they still endorsed Vance and his wife to become the Second Family out of numerous other candidates.

Nikki Haley came second in the republican hustings, beating the likes of DeSantis, and still carries a lot of sway in the Rep party - despite the fact she is Indian : born to Indian immigrants.

I'm definitely not saying they are spotless, but many people of BME origin who vote for Reform or Trump don't necessarily do so because they think they are bessies with black people, but because their policies align most closely with the priorities and values they consider most important to them, their children, community and the country they call home. Just like Evangelicals who vote for Trump despite his questionable personal moral record, but they reason that his policies are more in line with their Christian principles than the Democrats, so they hold their noses if need be and support him.
This is what most of these people don't seem to understand - humans will support the party that protects their interests even if the candidate might not be the "cleanest" person. A black African family who escaped religious persecution from Plateau State will be okay with voting for Trump because that is the candidate and party who has shown support to slain Christians in his region. An Indian family that wishes to have their daughter participate in sporting competitions in actual women categories will rather vote for a party that is vehemently against the mumbo-jumbo transgenderism ideology.

The Democrats have been accused of sidelining Harris in favour of white men who are far less qualified, aka Gavin Newsom. You'd also be surprised the number of women who don't support Harris simply because she's a woman herself. (Reverse sexism?)
Well, she is not going to win. And yes, women will vote against her. I hope she gets nominated. The easier it is for Trump to win, the better.

Yes thanks to conservative party, not because Reform has any good policy to run on apart from immigration, racism and homophobia , those three things will not win you an election it can only breed hatred.

Yes Labour has a mountain to climb but every little step will be seen as an improvement compare to the mess conservative govt left behind.

Farage has no good record politically, he is a tainted individual just like Trump.

You'd be amazed that that Nigerian Christian immigrant described by Gerrard would care less what Trump called Nigeria. Her number one pain point is the terrorism that dislocated her from her hometown and caused her permanent damage and loss. And you won't begrudge her if she's rooting for a candidate that promises to deal with the issue. I think that's the point the OP was trying to make.

My people
Please what's the processes involved in renewing Nigeria passport... my friend and spouse passport would expire in October while their sons passport would expire next month.
Please how do they go about it, is there any means to facilitate the process?

The entire family needs to put in for another visa by November
Just incase they couldn't get their passport renewed before the date... can their brps serve as an alternative to the passports?

Appreciate every advice

Ah ahn Justwise....have you been following recent rulings by the US Supreme Court?

Trump is no way going to jail for the crimes he's been indicted for, and the SC has effectively handed him a free pass for any future crimes he might commit while he's President as long as it was done for the good of the US.

In 4 years it's highly likely that Trump will be completing a second term after a historic come back and will be mentoring Farage on how to "win big" like him.

💯

Reform came a close second in about 13 or so Labour seats and this GE has shown that voters are increasingly fickle, fewer life long partisan voters. If Labour does not demonstrate real progress in the pressing issues they might quickly lose support. It's also very important what happens with the Tory leadership contest - will they pivot left with Tugendhant or seek to win back Reform defectors with the likes of Patel/Braverman/Jenrick....

Tbh I was so convinced this time last year that Trump was toast. I truly believed that DeSantis would win the nomination and that Trump would be done for one or more of the charges against him.

So yeh I'm surprised at how events have unfolded but I've accepted that Trump will win and that he will not be going to jail now or later. Some things are just meant to be.

Lol I get your point Justwise. My point is people vote based on personal interest. While the Nigerian Christian terrorism victim described up there is rooting for Trump, another voter who has suffered or came close to suffering personal loss from mass shooting might be rooting for the Dems. Both for personal interest, both are legitimate in their own rights, and no interest supersedes the other. Funny, but that's what democracy is all about. One thing I'll never do is to begrudge people for their political choice.

My money's on a pivot to the right, to Jenrick, even though as a brown-skinned visible minority I'd prefer Tugendhat gets it. I don't see the Tories giving it to Braverman or Badenoch, who are just incompetent empty-headed numpties at bottom with no leadership qualities, common sense, competence or anything to say apart from rabble-rousing over immigration.

Lol it wasn't just me as DeSantis initially received a lot of support and funding when he launched his campaign. This was right after the 2023 Gubernatorial and other elections when the Reps didn't do too well, particularly Trump backed candidates , and Trump was blamed for their poor performance. The narrative then was that perhaps Trump's star had faded, and they should start looking towards his successor.

The same could be said about Jenrick 😂

It'll be an interesting one. I suspect Tugendhant will win the parliamentary vote as the unite candidate but I don't see the membership voting for him.

Whether Nigeria is a toilet or not is a different issue. You seem angry a White man called Nigeria a toilet. Maybe if it were not, you would be residing in Nigeria instead.

As for Trump and Christians in Nigeria, his administration enlisted Nigeria as one of the countries where religious prosecution goes on endlessly. Nigeria has more slain Christians than anywhere else. More than China and North Korea combined.

Meanwhile, Christians in Nigeria especially Northern Nigeria would rather support Trump who openly called out the continuous butchering of Christians in the country. It was the GOP evangelical wing who lobbied for Nigeria to be listed amongst countries where religious persecution thrives. Here is the stat: Christians are slaughtered in Nigeria than anywhere else on the earth. Yes, more Christians have been killed in the black most populous country than in China and North Korea combined. https://www.persecution.org/2023/07/11/reconsidering-nigerias-removal-from-the-cpc-list/

Stop the killing of Christians in Nigeria from Trump to Buhari:
