How do y’all manage the pain of failed expectations and unrealized profits?
Yesterday I was up about $242 on one meme coin, I had taken out capital and tried to believe the narrative maybe it will blow and do more numbers… left to hangout and in a few minutes when I checked the coin it was now worth $61;before I could click sell, I realized only $35. It changed my mood for the rest of the evening.
This is especially sad when you make your conversions to naira : How the f do I leave #310000 naira on the table just like that ? Same happens when you lose money too and check the equivalent in naira . I think maybe it’s the currency difference that make major wins in crypto to be recorded by mostly whites; they can afford to lose their $50, $100 etc and not feel as much pain as you. Even if you leave a moon bag of $100 and lose it, wrapping your head around it might change your mood.
However when you try to double-think it, you will also find out that you can’t make that life changing money on Crypto if you keep selling for 1x, 2x … imagine someone gave you $popcat at 1m market cap and you sell at 2m, how will you make life changing gains? $popcat is now worth $1 billion Mc.
I guess the best thing to do is develop psychological mechanisms that will manage your emotions (sadness) because you will always be…there is no absolute right decision in here .

The thing is, to make it in this crypto, I must be sincere with you , you must be ready to lose and RISK IT ALL..
And again, you must have your normal husle that takes care of your bills .. that way you’ll be able to manage your emotions if market crashes..
Except you’re investing/trading with say 20k$ and above , that’s when you can make do with x1 x2.. but trading with dem 100$ 200$ and u Dey chase x2, na food money u go Dey see😀

I have some coins that I am holding till next year regardless of the market direction. The two coins are eth and sol.
I entered eth around November or later October when it was around 1800$ and I entered sol when it was around 28/33/40$…painful I didn’t buy much sol cos I was husling to get atleast 1eth then.

I have some memes coins( floki, bome, Pepe, gme and myro ) i was taking profit on every pump and truth be told , I realized substantial gains but in the long run, the money I made can only sustain me for sometime , it can’t really really change my life..

If luck is on one’s side, and one buys good coins, I believe 90% of us will be better off hodling.

However

This bull run, I won’t miss out on hodling
And I won’t miss out on taking profit …📍

What Is a Side Channel Attack?

A side channel attack is a hacking method that exploits a computer’s inherent “tells" that unintentionally convey information. These attacks take advantage of the seemingly harmless physical outputs of computers. For instance, an algorithm may be able to tell what kind of information has passed through a hard drive by measuring the sound of the hardware at work. The principle is similar to a bank robber listening to ticks in a safe as they turn a coded dial. However, these “ticks” don’t need to be based on sound.

Every computer is vulnerable to giving up clues in its operations. They give off sounds, light signatures and other telling signs that can all be used to communicate what is happening. In the world of cryptocurrency, these kinds of attacks could be used to discern when a private key is being put into a hardware wallet as it could radiate a higher signal.

Side channel attacks use information like timing, sound, power levels and more to begin breaking down the information and deducing key variables. The attacks can be used by hackers to glean almost any type of information if it is not sufficiently protected. This can be devastating to even the most encrypted networks that don’t account for what happens beyond the electronic ones and zeros that execute operations.

I just checked the volume and I don't like it. My spirit is divided. It's telling me after a pump to 70k or 72k, comes a dump except the volume changes.

So, the moment it pumps, I'm pulling out 90% of my trades or hedge them with shorts. This is not to scare anyone though. Then after 5 green or extended 5 green, I'll rejoin.

Boss, I just checked it (the volume) now and honestly, it's not convincing.
I think maybe they uses that figures for manipulation.

Otherwise, wetin be this grin

when we have not really experienced any significant moves.

I noticed that. I think there are lots of buyers (volume) and at the same time, lots of sellers (that's why price is stagnant, but 24hrs volume is up). The moment those people are done selling, there will be a sharp pump.
