I’ve reached out via email and am waiting for a response.

If anyone has used the CIIN certification to gain more points, please share your experience. Thanks!

I used it to gain points for two or more certificate

Heya,

Ooh ok. 470 isn't bad for the category draws, especially in respect to transport and Agriculture..
If you've not worked in either of the sectors or not able to get references from both, you shouldn't give up.
Just stay in the pool. Maybe in the coming months, new categories will be introduced. I heard they might introduce some soon, not sure when.

Canada is really unpredictable so don't give up.
How do you add category experience to your profile?

Please when was this?

I’m about to evaluate mine and I want to know if it’s still valid.

Hi

As i said previously get a reference letter from either of the two category draws(i.e Agriculture or Transport), go into the pool with their NOC and lastly wait.

I live in the UK and will be writing my English test next month. Is Ielts better? Also, which is better, paper base or online?

Good day everyone,

My BSc certificate was evaluated by CES and I also passed the BCS Level 4 Certificate in IT. Do I need to have my BCS certificate in IT evaluated as well? Additionally, I have over four years of experience working as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer/Program Officer in the HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis and STIs space. I also have almost two years of experience as a Cloud Engineer.

Will NOC 41404 suffice for my Monitoring and Evaluation/Program Officer role and will NOC 21231 be appropriate for my Cloud Engineering role? Looking forward to your replies. Thanks guys.

My WES certificate arrived in June after 2 months and it has a wrong year pf graduation. 2019 instead of 2018. My school says the mistake is not from them. I have reached out to wes to rectify but there has been no response from them. My certificate, statement of result and even student transcript has my graduation year as 2018. Who knows how long it will take WES to rectify or what i can do to speed up the process as I am running out of time. Do i proceed with the certificate, will it affect my express entry application?

Flutterwave dont offer USD virtual card servicess anymore. Pay4me rate will eat you enough.

Download the Chipper app and create a virtual USD card. You can use the card details to make payments.

Yes, to earn more points, you should evaluate both your BCS in IT certificate and your BSc degree. This will be considered as having two or more degrees, which would give higher points compared to evaluating just your BSc degree.

To your second question, I don't know about the role Monitoring and Evaluation, but NOC 21231 is the most appropriate for cloud engineering.

All the best.

Kindly assist, do you make the request to send the transcript to WES electronically on EKSU portal while applying for your transcript online or you request in person on campus.
Oluwatosinfaith:

Mine was sent electronically to Wes, it's acknowledgement was instant, and I got response from Wes in less than two weeks mine is a Master's

Sheisenough01:

If you insist on courier. You'll have to go to Ado before they send the mail. Best thing is to go to transcript division and request they send via email to WES they do it.

@stevolinkon40
I believe you have selected the correct answer provided you have never applied for asylum before for the first one

And for the second one, if you have ever had your visa application denied.
It will then follow up to ask which visa was denied and which year and which country
I have had visa denied in multiple countries and I listed them all with date and reasons and it has no negative impact on my application.
Do make sure to list any country visa application that has been denied on this section as it's very important, not listing it can have a severe effect and listing them won't negatively affect you except if the reasons for the previous denial is based on fraud attempt, fake documentation etc that's the only time you should be bothered about previous visa refusals.

Hello everyone, please I need help with the following request from SINP PNP. Currently, I am a Web Developer working in the UK. Also got a canada study visa but still holding back for the SINP decision which is taking like a year, Last week I got an ADR request on Proof of Fund which I uploaded. Today I got another ADR as per the below. checking on the CIPS website, I’m seeing that licensing could take up to 6months and I have got only 10days to submit request.

Any info on what to do will be appreciated please:

You have indicated in your Expression of Interest Profile that your intended occupation is NOC 21234-Webdevelopers and programmers. This NOC currently requires professional status and licensure in Saskatchewan. Provide documentation from the Canadian Association of Information Technology Professionals (CIPS) showing your: •Candidate Membership as an Associate Information Technology Professional (AITP); or •Certified Membership as an Information Systems Professional (I.S.P); or •Certified Membership as an Information Technology Certified Professional of Canada (ITCP) For more information, visit the provincial regulator the Canadian Association of Information Technology Professionals Saskatchewan

Once they ask for the ADR for PoF, it is about 95% certain you will be nominated. As for the CIPS membership, I'd advise that you initiate the registration process and do a LoE to tell them that you'd be done with the registration within the required timeframe, before you get into Sask.

Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by Gifty28(f): 10:00am On Jul 24
Yes it will give 2 or more cert. bsc & CIIN. I know people then who used it. Im abt to register for it. To claim 2 or more point for EE,it states that 1degree has to be 3 or more years & the other 1 year

Emmafe:
Hello,

My wife wrote the CIIN exam in 2021 and just had it evaluated by WES. The report shows it as an "undergraduate certificate (one year)." From my research, this can't be combined with a B.Sc. to claim points for "two or more degrees." Do you know if anyone has used it to claim points along with a B.Sc.?
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by Gifty28(f): 10:06am On Jul 24
Msc is your highest degree. The point for Msc is higher than 2 or more cert. you should’ve sent only your Msc cuz ond & bsc will give you 2 or more cert.

eniola1010:

honestly you guys need to call them, cus i just checked my wes profile now, i have ond, bsc and msc, i noticed it was only my msc they evaluated in the summary. so i think its only ur highest qualification that will be in the summary which is not meant to be so.
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by Gifty28(f): 10:19am On Jul 24
Yes it’s equivalent to 2 or more cert. CIIN 1 yr.
I want to register for CIIN. I can’t send a dm can you send 1 to me or should I drop my email?

Ericmaestrooffi:

Good day everyone

I also have the ciin certificate (foundation level) which I obtained in 2021.

I was planning on evaluating it along side my bsc certificate, does anyone know if it’s still acceptable for two or more certificates?

Good morning house, I want to appreciate the gurus in the house for their dedication in responding to enquiries of the people.

Please, I’m a first timer here and I can see that the thread has already gotten to part 11, scrolling back to get information might seem tedious. (apologies to those who might find this offensive)

Please, a friend of mine is really interested and wants to commence application for the Canadian express entry. Can someone put me through on the following;
1. The necessary documents needed to commence the application.
2. The exact website to commence registration
3. Does one need to get nominated by a province to get the PR?
4. What steps to get the ITA?
5. After application, how long does it take to get an ITA?
5. I know there’s a need for Wes verification. After the verification, where can one upload the result?

I would be most grateful if someone take out their time to respond to my enquiries.

It shall end in praise.
