efemena5050: I will quote you. 1. In every federal university, as long as the course you failed is not a prerequisite to the course you're to take in a semester, you can write your carryover course together with your core course. 2. In your first point, you mentioned private school students write carryover course with core course. If their teachers will be chastised for failing them, that means there won't be carryover in the first instance na. Go check out how both Convenant and Afe Babalola uni(both private unis) rank in the top 5 unis in Nigeria; above many federal unis |

LINSAR:i 'll quote u....... Seems u like fight and quarrel........u seem daring ......ur contending my point which is verified......first class in Federal university is better much appreciated to me than private university due to the daunting and far reaching strides one needs to attain which is not obtainable in private school..... |

CyrusVI: I am telling you, bro! This is what I have been observing for the past five years as a teacher. The way girls are dominating academically is becoming alarming. The male children of this generation are after quick means of making money just because of the foolish ones among the female ones! |

efemena5050: I'm glad you said it is more appreciated to "you". Guess what, a first class graduate from an approved private university and a first class graduate from a federal university are both regarded as equal within and outside Nigeria. |

lagosrd:I have zero respect for those guys up there. I am a teacher and I can tell you for free that the reason why this country is backward is because of the archaic and outdated and a pin-them-to-spot curriculum and ideology it runs on, which is not good for these children who are born technology-natives. As a parent , I'd do all in my power to send my ward to a school abroad or a school in Nigeria which is not bound by these myopic and deliberate attempt to circumvent the educational paralysis of the country. I have taught children who have graduated from the universities abroad at ages of 18, 20,21, many with first class, changing the world with the knowledge that they have acquired. Fix education in Nigeria, fix her ailments. |
