You can use it but not as important as the paper stamp, Coren prioritize the paper stamp than the steel seal when it comes to proposers form, because you will have to scan and upload the form in your portal and its only paper seal can show very well but steel stamp won't show

The issue am being confronted with now is that I've submitted my application and the admin reviewing my application insisted on paper seals from the proposers, but the proposers I used only have the steel seal stamps, the paper seals isn't available. They just want to request for their paper seals and I don't know how it would take before they would receive it.

No. The specific field you studied in school; at least your reports will be based on what you studied in school.

Your Degree certificate is one of the requirements for registration and the field you're registering in should align with that certificate.

They won't register you as a Mechanical Engineer if you have over 4years experience in the field; when your Degree is in Chemical Engineering for instance; you get the drift.

Just login into your portal, go to the proposer professional details page on your application where you put those proposers initially. The field will be editable, just delete the one you don't want and replace with another proposer number and names.

Yes ofcourse. If your application is not 100% complete, I don't think they will call you for COREN PI.

4 YEARS OF YOUR EXPERIENCE MUST BE WITHN ENGINEERING.. AND YOUR CONFIRMER TOO MUST STATE MORE THAN 4 YEARS IN THE FORM... BE CAREFUL NOT TO LIE, COS COREN APPROVING OFFICERS HAVE A WAY OF DICTECTING IF THE CONFIRMR IS LEING... MANY CONFIMERS HAVE BEEN SANCTIONED WITH MISCONDUCT FEE... Definitely yes, my little advise is that you go and source for any paper seal, provided name is not there and if you get the one with name, you can meet the person to endorse as second person but that means you have edit the endorsement part and put the name of the availableperson

i heard that people who used fraudulent nse certificate to do non appearance would not be able to collect their certificate. what does one do about this

Spiral Binding is mostly used...

It could be signed by mostly your confirmer, because he is the one you spent minimum 4 years experience with... Proposer can also sign... Make sure any one signing must be financially up to date....

Lastly, dress corporate when going to write the exam ...

That is not possible.. Most Coren Engineers you see are also members of NSE.. they work closely... And Moreso, All records of NSE registered Engineers are on the NSE portal which is accessible even to the public...

Fraudulent NSE certificate is not possible... If caught.. it is serious fine... Coren Fined a registered Engineer last year for signing as confirmer for a candidate he barely knows...

So Be warned ...

Make sure both of them sign... If not , your application will be queried and you stand risk not writing exam in that Batch....

What of if the confirmer is in another field different from the field I'm working. For example I'm in electrical engineering but confirmer is a registered civil engineer
