Greenwood that should be tearing up the premier league by now. None of our current forwards are as talented as he is. He had a smooth transition from the academy to the first team as well. Ballon d’or candidate I dare say- if the mentality and attitude were right.

He has himself to blame. 100%.

Nothing truer than this. It’s sad how a potential world class footballer decided to run his career to the ground..
He was amongst one of the purest talent to come out of the academy since the Class of 92 IMO. Shame, it all went to waste..

Due to renovations at Carrington, the women are not going to have regular dressing rooms at the training ground this year but will be using makeshift portable cabins. In addition, most of the good players have left over the past 2 seasons.

It is fair to say that neither SJR nor the Glazers values them. Their defender, Murtough, has left the club.

But I’m a bit concerned that we don’t have a dependable senior left back at the moment.

What if both kids struggle in preseason? Are we going to start the season with them given that Shaw and Malacia may not be match fit by that time. Or even available sef.

Scanlon is also more ready for the men's game. than the 2 of them. He is stronger, sharper and more tenacious on the ball. If/when those 2 catch up physically they would get their chance.
