But It's like the ibos aren't even interested in this protest? They aren't even talking about or trying to create awareness, even their Influencers are busy advertising goods instead of using their platform to talk about this protest
You all need to understand that What affects this nation affects all of us.
This attitude of ibos behaving a different nothing concerns us with Nigeria mentality is very wrong .

Nigeria has finally divided , and it is so unfortunate. This nation can't grow with this sort of division.

This is sad indeed undecided

Onanuga and co would not tell their bosses the truth that more people are dying daily from hunger than form even insecurity and road accidents.
They are ready to deface the commonwealth with series of lies, in order to win their allowances.

For those siding with the government in this trying times.

Hope u have bought ur gun to defend ur paymasters on August 1st.
Make sure u don't shoot your brothers anyway

When there is monopoly in government......We called it Military rule !!

When there is Monopoly in Business........We should call it out as well !!

90% Ownership of the Largest refinery in Africa to a single man is worse than military rule. Niger Delta should own at least 30% of Dangote refinery. The subsidized dollars Emefiele gave to Dangote, belongs to all Nigerians.(why? The dollar was subsidized with revenue from crude oil sales, the crude oil is our national asset)
Technically there is the blood and sweat of all Nigerians in that refinery.
Over twenty Nigerians where given licenses to build refinery but none did. Dangote came to change the narrative and oloriburukus like you and Aisha are saying rubbish.

Dangote has said he does not want to do again, in that case, nnpc, N delta or who ever is interested should buy him out.

Bottom line, if Dangote is given all the crude oil he is asking for, he will run other oil companies out of business. As Dangote refinery is creating jobs, it is also rendering employees of other oil companies jobless.

Rabiu Abdul Samad of BUA foods is also planning to build refinery in Akwa Ibom. Do you think Dangote will run him out of the business? Remember the guy is the producing virtually everything Dangote produces.

Imagine the nonsense this one dey spew. This Dangote dude has been enjoying monopoly & favoritism from a corrupt FGN since the military regime of Babangida. He's NOT the astute businessman y'all mistake him to be. He's the enabler of corruption.

This is the same dude that built the Apapa / Gbagada expressway in exchange for tax forfeiture. Do you realize the opportunity cost for the FGN? It's way more than what the meagre cost of building the road. angry angry angry

If he is not an astute businessman, how come he managed to have presence in 17 African countries and thriving? Couple with the fact the he was invited to come invest in Garbon recently.

Dangote has been a massive employer of labor. Yes, he's also been a great beneficiary of governmental policies but business isn't fair; it's war.

This has been the case all over the world majority of the big banks and companies received bailout funds from US government during the covid-19 recession.

Huawei was supported with over $700 million by the Chinese government when he was kicked out of United States market.

True, GEJ gave Dangote waivers. Which country does not protect key industrial base? Only banana republics.

Did Dangote set outrageous interest rate and bad economic conditions that deny SMEs access to funds for investment? No.

But which govt since IBB till Buhari has not given him waivers to ensure the growth of big industry through him?

To be fair he has become a big employer in 9ja.

Did Dangote ruin the Naira in the past year? No, he didn't.

Did Dangote mismanage oil subsidy removal? No.

Has Dangote stopped repair of refineries over the past 30 years? No.

It's not Jonathan and Dangote that destroyed small bussinesses... what destroys small businesses is lack of constant power supply, removal of fuel subsidy, high costs of fuel and disel, multiple taxation, bad roads, naira depreciating and losing value against the dollars , bad goverance, bad economy... simple

Aisha, it’s not just about waivers. Dangote’s success has created jobs and boosted the economy in ways that can’t be overlooked. Instead of blaming GEJ, let’s focus on how to support small businesses to thrive alongside big players. Competition is key!

Oga...Dangote has been spoon-fed by the government. He made the business environment for small businesses very unhealthy. Yes, he created jobs but did he employ every jobless Nigerian? Other jobs were lost because he killed other businesses. He would have created as many jobs as he did already while others still have their businesses and jobs intact.

2 men supplying the entire country. That is still monopoly that shouldn't be allowed to happen. Definitely they can run a huge part of the show, not the whole show.

The subsidy given to Dangote and the money spent to repair the Govt owned refineries yearly which doesn't still work which is higher?

Also, y has NNPC refused to provide crude to an internal customer?

Also many business men or women had indicated interest to build a refinery in Nigeria and was rejected?

You guys are funny, so Dangote is responsible for all the dying businesses in Nigera?

Is Dangote the only rich man in Nigeria, y r others not investing in Nigeria?

The man is simply solving problems there by making money.......look at ajaokuta steel that has still been built for over 40 years without success, what do u call that?

Dangote is a destroyer of economy. You know how many businesses that would have become great but due to his monopolistic nature, those businesses are nowhere to be found. This madam just said a truth
Hy aren't those businesses growing in the sectors dangote isn't invested in?

Steel
Power
Agriculture
Telecommunications

Why aren't they growing

Why didn't Nigeria have any single functioning refinery untill dangote decided to build one?

Nothing stopped all of una from investing there, but the moment dangote put hand he becomes the reason for your problema

You miss the point. Congrats on building a refinery. But dont force your refinery on our national wealth. Nigerian crude oil belongs to 300 million Nigerians.
Trying to force himself into the food chain of the whole country is what we are against. We are against i must buy crude oil from you and i must sell petrol to you.
That's not business, that's Mafia/Cartel Vibes.......No one should treat an elected Government like that. Is he above the Government ?

First of all, he doesn't drill or mine oil

Secondly, he doesn't take anybody's crude oil, he buys them

Thirdly, Nigeria has frustrated him soo much he now has to buy crude oil abroad

But you want to put mouth and eat what you did not cook

How can one person say that 200m Nigerians should meet him and him alone for fuel, the same mistake we made with food that caused the high cost is what dangote wants, he will inflate fuel price at will and expect everyone else to buy like that.

Where? Where did dangote say that? He never even insinuated it

Nigeria badly needed a refinery, govt give out over 20 licences for people to build an he alone decided to build it, but for some reason hes now the bad person for doing that?
